Why isn't there more CD's of happy hardcore out?
there are thousands of tunes released on vinyl......but not on CD!?!
Just think of all the classic CD albums that could be made with all the HHC thats only (i think) on Vinyl?
any thoughts?? ...
Sweetness is happy hardcore, which in return, is a way of life!

Well check out www.quoshrecords.com, Sy & Unknown are mixing a couple of cd's ready for release right now.....for instance "Hardcore 2" & "Original Hardcore 2".
Hardcore 2 is a good set of upfront material :-)

Am gettin a copy of all 3 coz a know that bonkers 'n' original hardcore aven't let me down yet

There's quite a lot of Hardcore CD's coming out now! Far more than there have been for a while, mostly quality too :) . Sy and Unknown are churning out loads, Bonkers is back and Next Gen even released one :D

Sure there are more CD's but still, what proportion of released tracks ever make it to one of them? Sure I know you wanna put on the tracks that people like, but when the CD's start sounding like basically the same set of tracks in a different order then it's getting ridiculous.

Hey Mustapha, do you mean CD singles rather than albums?
I read an interview with Hixxy on ush.net and he says he wants to release some of the future releases on CD, since hardcore is only really aimed at 'Turntablists'.
Personally I think they should release some hardcore singles on CD.

although you might want cd singles the big question is this: is there demand for cd sales? if so then i'm sure alot of labels will do cd releases

I'm sure there is ... it just seems to me that there's a running undercurrent of sentiment in the hardcore scene that the exclusivity that vinyl-only sales brings must be preserved at all costs.

hardcore cds? lack of? hardly.. it seems like a lot of the same stuff gets played over and over on the cds though, but i gotta gree, certainly no lack of cds coming out lately

It does seem that there has been a CD 'Boom' recently. Even raves like Slammin Vinyl are recording their stuff on CDs. Damn good idea to!
