let me firstly state that i DO like most of the new upfront hardcore.

with that being said, does anyone else think that the new wave of releases are all pretty much the same? ie: most of the JB releases, new evolution,ng/bb

i dont know, it just seems like hardcore is heading in another cheesefest era sort of thing. im not saying it is cheesy.. just that all the cheesey tunes sound the same, and that its getting like that now with upfront...

Oh man, I hope I didn't brain my damage...

I think theres a lot more variety out there than people think. I agree that a lot of the stuff thats getting played right now sounds similar coz its all being made by the same group of guys.

Breeze & Styles, Sy & Unknown, Hixxy , Dougal & gammer , Scott brown.

They all have theire own individual style and all theire tunes will be comparible to one another. But i think the way that the scene is going is fantastic.

Allso i thonk that the NG & BB stuff isnt anything like the rest of the upfront stuff out at the mo.

Peace, love and unity

alright, the ng/bb stuff is a little different from the rest... and there ARE labels like clsm, essential platinum, raw elements, elation, electric, etc... but im just getting a little sick of hearing the same sets and tunes over and over.

id just like to see a little more happy is all, some breakbeats over a 4/4 with hoovers and chipmunk vocals is all i ask! :)

Oh man, I hope I didn't brain my damage...

I do think you have a point because all the top djs are playing all the same tunes. Take a set by hixxy , breeze, styles or demand or dougal and you can pretty much expect the same kinda stufff.

It's a big shame really.

New and some old DJ's like Seduction are coming on to the scene again. As a result, things will very and change.I love chesse, I love hardcore,I don't like chipmunks but there you go, They still have the right to be around. Upfront is getting samey but that's what makes the scene as a whole change in new directions.

Couldn't agree with you more. The Happy Element has been really lacking in a lot of releases. Music is still damn good but tracks that REALLY move me are fewer and further between now days...
