If thats what you wanna do then go for it,don't be held back by others...rise above from the crowd,be original.
The more gigs you get the better, the thing is to get your name known and respected...thats probably the best way to get to the top.
Im just a bassline addict
Im just a hardcore addict
Im just a dancefloor manic
Why o why cant you just accept it.

surely it wud be easier for mc's to pierce the scene than dj's, lucky enuff djing isnt taking off as much over here as it has in england, but if i wanted to make it i'd have to get big over here then england lol, but prob have no chance cos i aint good enuff

every gig is experience, some may say playing the crappy gigs where no one likes you and the vibe isn't right is more valuable experience than playing gigs where everything goes 100% smoothly. the key is learning to deal with a situation thats blatantly going the way of the pea, you build confindence, and learn tricks on how to get an unresponsive crowd hyped.
in short... take as many gigs as you can!!! if you love doing what you do they will all have their merits.

It's all hard work... if you stick with it you will get there... look at Scott Brown, Brisk, Ham, Luna-C, Nick of Bang!, Hixxy... just to name a few you got like 60-70 years of combinated work there... Nothing comes over night... you got to work for it and you got to want it.
How did HappyHardcore.com become the largest hardcore media outlet in the world? By me putting a ton of time (and money) into it... I did it cause I loved it and when people did not believe in me or did not want to help me I did not listen to them because I knew this is what I wanted to do, it wasn't because I wanted to be famous or rich or both it is because I loved hardcore. You should think the same, be a nice friend to everyone, resepect the older people in the scene, don't forgot anyone and you will make it!

If you've got it mate, flaunt it. As long as you don't forget who you are and get too far up your own arse you'll be fine!!
Good luck to you, i'll look forward to seeing you at the big events

I'm sure that doing this can be easy once you start getting big, but I believe Jutt will do the right thing .

just like everyone is saying, take as many gigs as you can possibly get. but look at what you are doing, taking gigs with only the bigger names there. taking the smaller shows, you'd be the headlining mc so to speak and the other up and coming mc's will be there looking up to you. think of the feeling you get with someone you view as superior, the other mc's will feel the same way about you, it's a teaching/learning opportunity =)
