I found writing music about something I care about actualy made me want to finish the tune. I think it's something i'll try again.

I also like to write music that have some meaning, even if it is something very personal, that maybe no one else will notice or care.
Sometimes I start composing with a clear intention of what I want to express, and other times, I come up with the music first, and then I think about a personal emotion or thought that has the same feeling of the riffs and melodies I am creating at the moment, and then I write some vocals to use as samples in the track.
