so you mean Scott Brown is free to make remixes and being a hypocrity about other people remixing his work? :P

Anyways, getting back to the track in question. It has a very makina-ish synth :o (I see Smaloum made the same comment on sC)

I figured he'd be referring to the amount of bootlegs & rip off tracks the have & still do, flood the scene. He was probably trying to inspire people to write their own fully original tracks.

I doubt he's sees anything wrong with remixes, that would just be silly.

What was the HTID/knife incident exactly?

I remember reading on here about him pissing on a promo CD that was given to him but not much else.

Here's the post. It's all in there through various posts. At first it gives a vague description of what exactly it was all about, then HTID came back and posted everything in detail, and it didn't look good for Scott Brown. Funny thing is, when he was booked again for HTID ITS, he was only booked for one night, and it was the last night lol. Smart decision I say. He can't do too much damage in 24 hours. I remember seeing him post he got in really early in the day too.

Just finished reading all that thread, very interesting tho! Did SB really piss on a promo CD?! Although I agree in some ways (BTW I'm not reprising the old topic) with how htid handled the incident, as it was his job at the end of the day, still, were would hardcore be today without Scott Brown. Regardless of his antics he's still one of the most creative and near all of his tracks are true to form in regards to the style of hardcore.

Thanks for that. That's exactly what I read on here all those years ago but I never followed the thread to the end back then.

Ultravibes is a really weird signing for Evo. Their current sound is more FW B2B TWR.

Back in the Dopest DJ days, it would've made sense but not anymore.

Now that was a beast of a tune.

I though the same when he had a few Weaver tracks signed to Evo. But if I had heard the tracks I would've noticed it was very fitting sound for Evo
