What makes this proper use? If you ask me, it's just plain annoying.

damn; another guy doing it right.
too bad the big guys have their heads hella up their ass!
how they think the influence they are bringing is "hardcore evolution" in even the slightest is outright baffling .

these other guys are actually doing it.
https://soundcloud.com/zekkofficial/zekk-panchira-demo-fc-mess-game-vol4

TLDR; hardtek > trap.

hardtek is more hardcore than trap.

trap is not hardcore. at all

The last thing is electro house influenced if any. Not really "big room" or "trap" there. An i wouldn't call it Hardtek either.

i can most definitely hear the exact same sounds and influences used in different manners.
i duno about electro house; hard electro though ; for sure.

12 seconds - 13 seconds : trap
54 seconds - 1 : 12 some trap and big room influence
1:33 - 1:43... yup

a hardcore track ( generalizing) with some trap and big room influence.
vs gammers trap track that has 0 hardcore in it; and is called "happy hardcore'
sorry peeps; this shit has me on my knees laughing.
i just cant wait to rip some fuker a new one when they play some trap and call it hardcore. but i would rather not. i just can't see how that is good marketing. at all.
never gunna let this go ;) .

defo sounds like hardtek to me dude ;)

all ears though

Proper use of trap and big room sounds?

The answer not at all, it's all shite that has no place in hardcore.

i agree. but shit; while everyone is pretending to evolve the scene and hardcore; at least some people do make serious attempts to work with current trends. instead of selling out like complete bitches

Gammers track resembles hardcore about as much as i resemble God. The only thing hardcore about this track is the producers name accociated with it. Its laughable. Hardcore has lost most of its identity to what id call hardcore. Make me sad :(.

You sound a little angry. A few years ago the Zekk track would have been torn apart for being Dubcore or something. Now Prof. Evil Gammer has moved to Trap; Dubcore is okay then? Hardcore has always been heavily influenced by the sound design from other popular dance genres. And let me just mention M.C. to give you a hint how much Hip Hop there already is in Hardcore.

The purist will stay in their little room and never leave and see new exciting things. Might still be satisfying, but if there is so much hating it probably isn't.

def a bit angry. sick of people in the scene taking a shit on the scene. seriously; wtf?
i dont think anybody ever denied some hardtek/tribe style is really that different from hard electro; and ya some of the dubcore and electrocore clearly resembles/resembled hard electro.

but lets be real; hardtek/tribe is wayyyy harder than dubcore ever was.
and im saying its good for what it is. it's not dubcore saying its uk hardcore; or trap saying its happy hardcore. i think it is an exceptional attempt at actually moving forward and using these influences from " other scenes "; while not being a 100% twat. for them; in their sub genre. too bad uk hardcore cant do the same thing.

i have never felt like hardcore takes THAT much from other genres honestly. hardcore is one of the most unique genres out there; most people who havent heard it really dont know what to relate it to.

" oh; sweet fast trance" ? lol. hardly. ;)

i wish the producers had more faith in their bread and butter. maybe thats why gammer thinks its a good idea to call trap happy hardcore. its just easier.

and as far as mc's; i cant stand em. for me its always been about the banging euphoric female vocals.

well i could get into a metaphysical discussion about how we do indeed all resemble "God" ; ( as much as i would rather not acknowledge Gammer as such; currently ;) ) but i will leave that for now lol.

i certainly agree though. that is a steaming pile of shit; 100% confirmed.

Who sounds angry? Angry? No. Sad? Yeah. Its just my opinion of the track, that's the great thing about freedom of speach and free will. I dislike the track because I dislike the track, not because its trap? Again free will, everyone has the right to there personal preferences in music and the genre, hence why a lot of producers have there own unique sound and style for hardcore, as there is no 1 single producer that says "yep this is the industry standard for hardcore so all follow our sound and style otherwise its not hardcore!"
And as for living in a small room and never leave for new and exiting things, who said that I (or anyone) HAVE to like trap? I dont. I dislike the track because of my personal taste and style for hardcore, and I don't like trap, because I don't, but don't let it confuse you that dislike for gammers track has anything to do with the fact I dislike trap. I follow what I like and enjoy, such is the light of discovery for these "new and exiting things".
