The first is a track that goes like this:

The second goes:
The rythem the rythem, and then it has some modanna lyrics i think.

First one is "Hold Me Now" by DJ Kaos...there's three mixes of it I think. The original is on Ravin Mad, I think and then there's remixes on Go Mental Gold. As for the ssecond track...that's Bass D & King Matthew's "Like A Dream" on Inferno. The sample you're talking about is "the ripple, the ripple" Hope that helps. : )

Or there's 'Hold me now' by Highlander - A more Dutch sounding tune and probably the one you've heard if it's from the same tape/set you've heard with 'Like a dream' on.
Incidentally, i thought the sample on 'Like a dream' was 'the rhythm, the rebel'
Don't know about the 'ripples'!!!

i think it was a bonkers sample, one of my friends had it, and well you could be right, but i still think it was bonkers

Yeah 'Like a Dream' is mixed in at the end of 'Hold Me Now' on Bonkers, the only places I've heard it mixed like that.
BTW, is that "ripple" sample suppose to be that high pitched scratching sound now and then in the tune?

Like adream as you call it is i believe called : Rave is a mystery.
I think the original hardcore mix was done by vibes on asylum records and there is allso a remix by Vinylgroover on world of obsession which i would love to get my hands on

No, they are seperate tracks.
Vibes and Witchdokta - 'Rave is a mystery' only uses the 'Life is a mystery' vocal sample.
'Like a Dream' only uses the 'Like a dream' vocals and is a completely different tune.
That and Highlander - 'Hold me now' were both played by Hixxy on Bonkers 1.

There's a track on Bonkers 7, Hixxy's mix called "The Rythm" by Josh Ferris & Ben Arrantz. That uses the sample "The Rhythm, The Rhythm,. I'm not sure if thats what he is talking about but it does use that sample and it is on Bonkers (7).
