I like trance, I love hardcore...together it goes, but I dont feel it.
I think the nustyle happy hardcore should get another name and let happy hardcore as it is. It is totally two different things now.
I dont know, I see some ppl already accepting it, I just cant yet...its really hard!!!

^^
dont get me wrong, i much prefer the old stuff, was much more variety in the tunes then.
but, some of the newer tunes are top drawer, and i like quite a lot of them, i personally like the raverbaby / jellybaby stuff.
my point was however, hixxy (and any other hardcore djs for that matter), dont deserve a slaggin for producin 'trancey' tunes when thats where the scene is at right now.
some of the producers are startin to vary this 'trancey' sound, and this is a good thing, the variety always has to be there for the scene to continue.
thats my piece said!
:- )
have you got some of this hardcore power?
let the bass beat louder....

HARDCORE FOREVER
if video games affected us children, then we would all be running around in dark rooms, munching magical pills and dancing to repetitive music!

look, happy hardcore is and will always be happy hardcore, the new stuff is just hardcore. dunno why people say that happy hardcore is being ruined by all the trance influences. they are two completely different styles now. happy stuff is still being made to this day, so if you dont like the trancy stuff, go and buy the happy stuff!! or even better than that, do something about it and MAKE SOME YOURSELF!!

Why on earth would we need any more names? Are you people just incapable of knowing what sounds like what without some genre label to help you out? Sheesh ...

I do buy the happy stuff and I'm also planning to make some myself!
And I don't share the opinion that hardcore is being ruined by trance influences, just that its not a new sound, its trance sounds incorporated and I dont see the big deal about a "new sound". Only that its new in hardcore. But it sounds good though, dont get me wrong. Its just not my preference.

I completely agree with this sentiment, Hardcore is hardcore no matter how it takes you through the ride. Choppy, Tranced, Junglized, whatever, just listen and dance
