No way is he playing trance. He still does the odd old skool set. Ent heard much of him lately though

I heard on a local radio station they were going 2 have an interview with Slipmat, they mentioned that he played old school & now he was playing trance so im just wondering if it is the dj

yea he plays trance but i seen him on easter monday playing b2b wit dj force(of force and styles) and he was banging out happy so i dont think he has lost his hardcore roots,
and sure hixxy is playin hard trance as well innit?

My boss at work brought in CLUBLAND EXTREME, I couldnt beleive it when i saw SLIPMATT on the back, so I played the tune, it was shite, some hard house crap!! I cant beleive this is the same bloke who was the godfather of hardcore!! come on slipmatt, sort it out!

It looks like alot of hh djs r going down this route & playing hard house, h house has not got the same energy or feeling as hh

The thing is, hardhouse DID evolve from hardcore (as I understand it) and it would be a logical progression down the path for a DJ going for a more 'mature' sound, personally I don't care though... the whole thing is crap. Hard house is hardcore without a soul.
