I nearly had a heart attack when I saw one online record shop wanting to sell it for £100!
Can't believe it's worth that much, is it ppl?

I can't belive that these tunes are worth so much! IMO they're not that good. Good tunes yes, £40 no.
Hows some aspiring new young DJ supposed to afford that? Original producers should get busy and licence some re-prints. Ppl obviously want them.

Isn't it strange how tunes get this almost legendary status when they weren't that special in the first place? Yes, a good tune but not worth silly money - if i paid that much for a 12" i'd keep it locked in a safe!!
There are quite a few tunes that I wish i'd bought (or never sold) but would i pay £50-100 for them?
WOULD I CHUFF!!!!

I agree. People do want them. Especially now with the scene doimng so well. But then if they were repressed people probably wouldnt be desparate to get them. One of the great things about it is that they are so rare. That why they cost so much. Just make sure ya buy all descent new tunes now and youll have a hell of a collection in 5 years time!!

I saw Charly L. & Mental T. "hardcore feelings" and "wonderfull days" records selling at $500 and $650....I mean, I was just knocked back into my senses, just at one look at the price. Then I see someone else selling the same records at $30-35...it's just funny.

If money was not a problem, i wouldnt mind paying that much. But, as we all know, its not and well im stuck without turntables, or anything because i have to "pay for college", or so says my mom.

Just read in The Sun that Robbie Williams is getting together with Nena (Original artist of 99 Red Baloons) to do a re-release of 99 Red Baloons. So it will be re-pressed in one form! LOL! Also it was apparently an anti-war song. Never knew that meself!
