Does anyone know when exactly Raverbaby records are gonna start releasing some track for the actual people who promote them to the people??
When, when, i hate the fact that if you not in the loop of the world class DJ/Producers (especially in HHC) you don't get squat track accessibility until the best in the world have played them out. Dammnnn. Are they afriad of losing their crown???
But don't get me wrong, please don't get me wrong, i love those guys and they are the best for a reason.
And thats because they ROCK  (Raspekt!)
SALEKTA!!!!!! Any one out their got an opinion?

by the time the tunes get released they're over played and no one wants them.
take you're shining for an example. cracking tune and we all know that,could have been a huge anthem but imo it would be on the same level as something like shooting star..IF it was released a bit after it was first played out.
tunes on evolution are out after about a month after promotion from mr brown himself. the latest an evo tune has been released actually is a few months. i first heard chase back in april last year and about 2 or 3 months later it was out. the same night at the same rave i heard you're shining for the first time and that was out nearly a year after i first heard it.
bottom line,raver baby tunes are absolutely brilliant,well written and sound good etc,but by the time they come out they're over played. i've heard too many tunes from over a year ago now and they still aren't out. makes me wonder if they will ever actually be released

Thats 100% correct. But isn't that the scary thing. If they do get released i think ill go bald or at least grey within the month.
and Evo tunes rock because of that. eg. i had Hardcore Hustler, and Sunrize (EPP) B4 i heard them i CD. I felt sooooo special

i heard hardcore hustler a few days before bonkers, as for sunrise i heard that way before it featured on bonkers x. no complaints here tho,it boosts sales at the end of the day.
but put it into perspective. listen to bonkers 9,breeze and styles - sonic. this is a top tune,my best tune on the compilation. i would have bought it if it was out a while ago. not now tho coz everyone's heard it. if i was in that situation i'd forget about all the tracks from around that timeline, and work on some new ones (or even another mix of the old tracks eg remix of sonic,my way etc etc) and get them released asap. it's raver baby's loss otherwise. top notch anthem material is going to waste because of the delays,whether it's hixxy's fault or not i don't know,but the problem has to be sorted.

i agree very strongly with mouse, i have not buyed raver/jelly tunes in the past because of the delayed release, it's very frustrating. those tunes get played out here like crazy, and smaller djs don't get them for months after....

I think that Hixxy just doesn't have time to run a record label in all honesty... they're not really on top of their game when it comes to anything - I ordered several raverbaby shirts at one point and they were never sent to me. I just think that hixxy has to hand over control of the label to someone that can actually keep it running on a decent schedule... maybe breeze? That way we could get the tunes and he could focus on... being hixxy...

^^^ good point..... i think hixxy is good for running a label though. he's got the skills and such.... maybe he just needs more help/staff or whatever.... breeze is a busy man too.

If he doesn't have time to run a label what does he have time for? Making crappy songs like "Summer Sensation"? I totally agree with what's been said in this thread. I never even bought You're Shining because I heard it wayyyyy too many times before it was available on vinyl. There are a bunch of good songs which are played out currently that need to be released soon or they'll just be forgotten, which is really a waste IMO

sOOOOOOOOOOO true. Sonic was my favourite song, and was gonna be the best breeze and styles track i own, but i still have no idea when it comes out.
