A DJ named Martin Boss(I think) holds the world records for longest DJ set ever played. It was like a day and a half long... the whole thing was televised online. pretty neato eh?
and I wouldn't really care to see a hardcore set more than 2 hours long either, unless he/she played all styles and was able to keep the energy up, but that's pretty hard to do... a 3 hour tag team might work nicely.
with techno and house, depending on what the DJ wants to do, alot of the music can sound very similar, so an extended set is easier to do than with hardcore, where most songs are easily recognizable.
No sir, that's paper.

One hour sets sit fine with me, with the odd two hour set
