I know for awhile nobody knew if it was gonna be released, with DNA ****ing off like he did, but does anybody know if it can be gotten any other way? Like is there a mix cd or a bootleg with it? I remember hearing it on some RealAudio site awhile back, but I lost the clip and now I've got a renewed interest in the track.

http://www.happyhardcore.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=6970 Look at that. This is a direct quote from DNA "Sorry to hear you feel I "fu**ed off like I did". It's difficult to try and explain why I left in the way I did, but if you had spent months - not to mention nearly a thousand dollars - in trying some new things to try and help the scene, to then see those projects ripped apart by people who felt I shouldn't have been allowed to play breaks and basslines in the Hardcore room? **** that. I didn't spend 8 years of my life making music in the hope that one day I could leave the scene, killing my name as I went. Do you think that's what I was dreaming of as a kid? I left in an emotional mess, feeling discarded and hounded upon for trying to do something that many people - now - are also trying. Funny how that works. =/ Anyway, the track in question, 'Outta Here'.. I destroyed the original, somewhere in the middle of that emotional mess I mentioned earlier. I destroyed a lot of tunes, many that no-one had ever heard. If I was going to kill DNA, his unheard work was going with him... .. and yes, of course I regret it. Anyway, one person in the world was given a copy, and that was DJ Ponder. He hangs out at ush.net so you could try asking if he has a copy, otherwise, I know he played it at Slammin Vinyl one time, so if he told you when that was, you could search for the tape pack. It's an ok tune.. nice gimmick.. the new stuff will blow it away though, I promise. :-)" O, I have hard one of the new tracks, and well its sweet. When I post, i shoud really be sleeping.

This may be good news:
I have procured a copy of Outta Here in RealMedia format that is COMPLETE. It's not from a mix. It was with a bunch of other unreleased RealMedia DNA tracks. It just may be a promo CD that he forgot he made or something. It has an intro track basically stating that it's kind of an experimental style.
With DNA's approval, it may be possible to find whomever has that disc, if it exists, and get a nice rip of it, and bring this amazing track back from the dead.
Just a thought.

And DNA, if you read this, I have to respectfully say that the reason I am clinging onto this track is not out of bitterness or anything for what you did. I understand completely. Unfortunately, I have heard some of your new work, though, and have found it to be outside my tastes. Sorry. I tried to like it. LOL. But if you don't mind, many people would like a copy of this track if it is indeed recovered, and so it would be amazing if you'd give the project your blessing.
Paul
Edit: And before you assume that I am just kissing your ass, I really do mean that I understand how horrible it would be to go through something like that. Really. I didn't know why you left and so I assumed you'd just pulled a Vinylgroover and left for a more commercial genre.

And continuing my long babble, I'd also like to say that I am not bashing your new project at all. Hell, don't do what you're not happy with. What's the point of life if you aren't happy with it? Whatever you do, know that I, for one, as well as I guess I can speak for many forum members, too, will always have your back, dude.

Sadly, I found out that there WAS supposed to be an album, but the only copies that anyone had of the tracks were RealAudio copies he sent over instant messengers.
Oh, well... Maybe we can hurass Ponder to rip it?
