I have two said albums (one of which i made from an old tape) called "Central Nervous System".
I've looked high and low, but don't know what these really are, I'd really like to find out what they are so that I can buy them. I've bought Central Nervous System 1 and 2 from centralrecords, and they are not it! Although one song on the first CD is called "Xpress Elevator To Hell", and is also on vol 4
Basically, these albums don't match up, so there must be another DJ/group doing albums under the name of "Central Nervous System". I REALLY need to know who the other DJ/group is, and I'll try and think up a nice reward for the clever person who knows. =-]
First CD that I bought: http://www.centralstationrec.com/detail.cfm?Searchby=&RecID=15178&SearchbyHead= Second CD: http://www.centralstationrec.com/detail.cfm?Searchby=&RecID=15184&SearchbyHead= Thanks guys and girls! -Steve

central nevrous system was a huge rave in sydney in 95' (or 96', cant remember)
away the tape (or whatever) you have would be the mix tape from it its got tracks like speedracer, obsession, heres johnny, what would you like to hear again, seven days etc etc on it (lots of ultra sonic and dyewitness if i recall)
one of the best mixtapes ever IMO and i lost my copy that was one of the original bootlegs :'(

Nah.. those songs are on the CD's that I bought recently in the hope of them being the ones that i'm after. Those songs are listed on the URL's that I posted. The mp3's (one from tape) are completely different to the CD's.
There is a lot of mention to movies on vol 4 of my mp3's... such as "hi-ho, silver" the "masked outlaw", and then the Aliens sounds on "XPress elevator to hell". Email [email protected] for a URL to a couple of said mp3's. =-]

Central Nervous system was a CD compilation only released in Australia under the Central Station records label (hence the name Central Nervous system).
The track "Xpress Elevator To Hell" was written by DJ Vagas who also complied and did the mixes for the CD's. DJ Vagas now lives in Adelaide and runs a record store last time I heard.
Central Station is no longer producing this series.

Silver: yeah =-]
I just don't know what these mp3's are now! =-[
They are labelled the same thing... I guess there is hope that they are just mislabelled album numbers, since I now have 1 and 2 on CD, maybe I have 3 and 4? If they even exist? eep! =-[

Is there a page that I can check with for future reference?
All i saw for this section was "Music discussion - track ID request
Heard a song / track you don't know the name or been in your head from your last party? Post song ID requests here. "
Whereas I realise I can't mention the "m" acronym in "Music discussion - other genre
General music discussion about the other music. Please do not post links to, request MP3 files / sites or discuss file swapping programs."
I don't want to break rules without me knowing it and have my posts edited. =-[

Oh ok. =-] thanks.
As long as I don't mention what format they're in, or where I got them from, it's all good eh?
Awesome. I'll put a small piece up soon, cause i'd really like to find the CD's.
Thanks silver.

Fixed your links...
sample1: No idea, sorry.
sample2: holy crap! This is by an artist I used to manage, it is actually on a CD called "Nightmare in Sydney" - again by Vagas. The track title was listed wrong, the artist was listed as AfterMath (a group I used to be in) but the real artist was called Rog. I asked the artist what the name of the track was but we both can't even remember.
I think there were only 1000 units pressed and I never did get paid ... grrr
sample3: no idea sorry.

Hiya Randy,
As Silver said, sample 2 is my track. It was actually put on that compilation by Vagas, of openly questionable ethics, without our knowledge. :)
Anyhoo. I think (hope) I have the original buried on a CD somewhere. I'll try to get you a copy of the track if you like (in the evil m acronym format, no less).
I've since moved on from writing hardcore and electronic music in general, but was amused to see this little sample pop up out of the blue.
Cheers,
Rog
