I just got home and I been thinking about what an undeniably massively huge part mc keyes has played in literally saving the UK hardcore scene , it seems he enjoys the raves he puts on just as much as the people there do, and I literally think without this man, UK hardcore would not be what it is today without him .

Or maybe he's partly to blame for the current state of UK hardcore?
To be honest I don't know much about his involvement in hardcore and I've never been to any of his events. I have seen him swaggering about in various raves like he owns the place though and he definitely comes across as a bit of a welt. His mcing is pretty shite as well.

He's amazing.
There wouldn't be a scene without Keyes.

Wouldn't it be fairer to say that he created the UK Hardcore scene rather than saved?

Storm made up a new hashtag - #convictedsexoffender and then proceeded to tell everyone about Sy's supposed crimes. Sy released a statement saying that he got cautioned for having a picture of a couple of 16 year olds with their tits out in 2003. Other people got involved and said stuff that made it sound like there was more to it. Sy & Unknown split, Sy & Storm never appear on the same stage. I don't think anything has ever been proven that disputes what Sy has admitted to.
That's pretty much the gist of it, there's probably still a thread on here that has more of the gory details.

There was rather a lot of he said she said at the time (late 2012) with no real conclusion, the main point being that everyone's still doing their own thing and the big S Y is back on decent big lineups again, I've always loved Sy, and got the absolute honour of MCing for him a couple of years ago, but that said I've always got on well with Storm and Keyes also, both of them have been nothing but nice to me as and when I've spoken to them.
