A couple of days ago I got a couple of old compilation cd's, among them "Thunderdome IX". On that one is a tune by "Diss Reaction" called "Jiieehaaaa" which is exactly the same as "Ruff Muff" by "2 Damn Tuff". The latter was released on NG in 1997, but "Thunderdome IX" is from 1995. Could someone explain this? Is Diss Reaction = 2 Damn Tuff? Or should I write "RIP-OFF" all over one of my favorite NG releases?

yea, 2 damn tuff re-did it.. brisk used to play jieehaaa in like.. every set from '96 that i heard of him.. and then they redid it.. it's not exactly the same.. theres added vocals and acid lines and such.. i heard that diss reaction was impressed with the outcome :)

Thanks for clearing things up =) Although I would definitely not use "redo".. more like "steal completely". But as long as Diss Reaction is happy, so should I be.

jiiiiehaaaa was repressed quite a few times. the most easily obtainable one is on ruffneck classics 4

I don't like Jiieehaaaa. Too much "ha ha ha"ing. I hate it - bores into mr brain then out the back again.
