Why the Crudstep and Trap (Crap) influences?
Seriously you won't get this in Hard House! No way!
The UK Hard House scene is just pushing out slammer after slammer after ****ing slammer at the moment! Lots of noise, energy and hoovers and don't get me started on the big Toolbox Digital weekly podcasts every Friday!
This Trap/Dubstep fusion shite sounds like what 20 year old Jeremy Corbyn supporters listen to!

What has this got to do with Gammer?

About as much as your hard house videos.

I really don't understand people are getting worked up about something they can't control. If gammer wants to call his music happy hardcore then all good... if he wants to call it jazzy hip house it really doesn't matter... at the end of the day think about what you are arguing about... if you don't like his music or his new material quite simply vote with your ears and don't listen to it...

I don't listen to it.
Why is it all good though? It's disrespectful. It's all tied into the psuedo-ironic #hashtag crap, makes a mockery just like that 'happy hardcore fm' crap grimshaw does on his radio 1 show. He knows full well it bears no resemblance to actual happy hardcore so what possible reason could he have for calling it as such?
Does it make any difference to how I view his music? Not really. Does it effect the way that new listeners see our scene? Absolutely. I don't see how that's fine.

Some people really seam to have not a single drop of empathy. No wonder there needs to be PLUR written all over on the rave scene as apparently there are quite a few that need to be reminded of common courtesy every step along the way.

I don't know if that's aimed at me or not but if it is, let me remind you that just because someone says 'you have made me upset' doesn't necessarily mean that the person who it's been said to is wrong. I have stopped commenting on his music and saying 'that's shit' and so on because I have accepted that he's moved on and can make what he wants. I do not appreciate the rest of it though for the reasons I've already mentioned and for reasons I've mentioned in other threads. I don't think Gammer has shown very much courtesy either, it goes both ways.

I'd be fine with him making whatever he wants if he stopped calling it happy hardcore.
