And FLAC is still LOSSLESS. If you wan't a lossy format based on Vorbis, then there's OGG.

i know FLAC is lossless, lossless mean a file format capable of storing data without any compression. which most program's do not include the option for in the save box drop list options
FLAC compression is just an alternative to other encoders, its not a lossless compression, there is no such thing as lossless compression, compression is only possible by skipping a selection of frequencies, MP3 is anything below 45hz and anything over 18khz and you have the average 160kbs MP3 file
