When did the "nu skool" era start in 1999 when bonkers 7 came out or in mid 2002 when bonkers rezurrection came out?

I am not sure what the music (hardcore) between 1999 and 2001 gets classified as.

I'd say neither....

The idea of "trance-core" or as it is now know as "freeform" started in ....97 I think??

Anywho, Dyewitness started the trend with a track that was called "trancore" on the .... "Battle for you mind" (I'm think thats what its called).

But to classify it....the best description is hardcore.

Trancecore=freeform???
Around here, trancecore is the stuff bionic recordings (artists: Ki-real, Ferox, ...) makes. Trancy synths with a gabber/darkcore bassdrum. Nothing like freeform.

Harcore & Gabber Have Been Around For ages Just mainly In Rotterdam With DJ Neophyte, Viper, Paul Elstak, DJ Panic & Rotterdam Terror Corps etc
Gabber & Rave were the first type of electronica back in the early 90s. But All This Is Real Hardcore.

You and your dirty real hardcore.

Its all hardcore

Yes. Trance-core is freeform. The pioneers of trance-core/freeform changed the name because they thought it sounded like crap. I remember reading/hearing it from Sharkey or Kevin Energy or someone. One of the "patriarchs" of the freeform/trancecore definately said it though.
