That seems like exactl what i'm searching ...but the BPM tool butchers the tune :s I've seen some other programs do that too, if i remember right it tries to "normalize" the tune by adjusting the pitch. But it makes it sound really bad. Couldnt find a tool to change it to only adjust speed, nothing else. Does the full version let you do that?

yeah you can adjust basically anything.....set a master bpm if you like.....adjust the key of a track without changing the speed or vice versa......from what i remember the quality is great when something is pitched aswell no phasing at all and it comes with tutorials if you cant figure something out :)

I cant seem to get it to work, it does that with Mixmeister:
http://koti.mbnet.fi/baka/jotain/testi1.mp3

But i want it to do that (same part, same speed, but done with Mixcraft):
http://koti.mbnet.fi/baka/jotain/testi2.mp3

from 0:25 onwards you'll see what i mean, but it lowers the quality of the whole track too.

mmmm i cant remember how to activate and deactivate the key lock BUT........if you right click the track in the playlist before you drop it in the timeline and click on track adjustments or something similar(cant remember exactly what its called)there will be a key adjustment option use that and it should do the trick i think.

Thanks found it now, needed to tick a "Turntable style" box, heh. So far really liking how the program works.

You could do it all within FL Studio tbh. Stretch/compress the tracks, Line them up with each other and adjust volume, EQ etc.

You can simply drop tracks into it, and drag them out to get them in time with each other. You can have this set to only adjust pitch if you wish. All you have to do to make volume or EQ changes is hit record and then make them as it plays. You can now double click on the block in the channel you saved this recording to and manually adjust till you're happy. I can't seem to find a pic at the mo but it basically just creates a slope going from the value you started at through to the one you ended at. All you have to do is drag this slope with your mouse. So this all means you can go back to your mix and tweak anything!

I'm not sure if you can do all you need in the two cheapest version of the software though... I know it will work all work on the Producer edition $199 US dollars (too much?) But it may even work in the Fruity edition $99 or even the Express edition $49. It may be worth dropping them an e-mail saying all you need to be able to do is drop tracks in, time stretch/compress them, record and manually edit EQ and volume changes, what's the cheapest version this can be achieved in.

You wont have a crossfader but you can just adjust volume on each track.. I think you can even get a cross fader VST that you could use with FL as well though if you're that fussed with that. I imagine this doesn't bother you though as you're not wanting to mix in real time.

You can get a full demo here - http://www.flstudio.com/

There may well be a more suitable program (I've never looked into this sort of thing) but FL Studio will def do everything you want.

Back when i made this topic, i thought that would be the program. But as far as i can remember, it didnt have easy ways to change the BPM. Has that changed?
