a Dubplate is basically a white lable. its an old term for a tune that hasnt been released properly but a few people have a copy.

As far as I know, a dubplate is more of a 'one press' record cut to acetate. They feel like metal to the touch and even ring when you flick them...

so ,why if they only play about 30 times are they so cheap?
are there limited copies ,dear and only play about 30 times before being worn?
and what happens when a vinyl gets worn?

They are not cheap, but they do wear out. Dj's us them to try out new music at parties and such. They are not records that are in pruduction, but they might be some time in the future.
Its called the chiz factor.
