I dunno much about Jap music at all.
definatly something I feel I should explore a bit futher.
always been subject to a bit of "Yoko Kanno" though.

Yeah for some odd reason I dont think everyone is talking about "jewish american princess".
I liked konomama tons... There is also some Shrapnel Sound stuff that I wouldnt mind getting on vinyl which prolly isnt possible. I dont exactly know what tracks they are but I do know I like some of their stuff :).
Japanese bands/Jpop peeps I really like are: Shonen Knife, Pizzicato 5, Cibbo Matto (ok technically not 100% japanese), Globe, Ayu, Hikaru Utada, Dragon Ash, ELT, MAX, Morning Musume (their stuff is sooooooooooo happy and catchy), Namie Amuro, Speed, TM Revolution, TRF, Globe, m-flo, and tons more :) Heh.
Oh and Ive seen Puffy, Shonen Knife, P5, and C Matto live. They all rocked.

Globe, Ayu: We tour them
Namie Amuro: Touring and meet her a few times at clubs
TM Revolution: Currently doing a DJ tour with their producer.
TRF: Know everyone in the group very well... Went on a tour with them for 6 months
If you know Boa as well I went on tour with her in New York...
I also did some other things for other groups in avex that I can't remember their names of... Also the singer of Konomama is a famous Japanese singer, don't ask me who I have a pile of contracts that say I can't tell you.
Here is a photo of me on tour last year, Yuki from TRF is the girl :)
