Hi there just to do that annoying introduction bit that I ams ure you are all tired of by now - I am Davin aka Dibstar been interested in the scene for about ten years (18 yrs old now) and have relatively little knowledge of the music excepting the bonkers series so any suggestions (other than profane ones  ) would be happily greeted.

Hi, welcome to the forums...
as for the suggestions, click on the shop button, theres alot of good cd's.
I would recommend that you get The Ultimate Happy Hardcore Album,
6 CD's for £10... 3 CD's of new stuff and 3 CD's of old stuff...

Thanks for the recommendation but as a rule 6cds for a tenner means BAD (in least in my experience) .

Ok, there is a little mislead, one CD lasts about 51min, so 6 CD's lasts about 306min, 4 blank 80min CD's would make 320min see where i'm going?
But the tunes are quality, compared to other CD's its well worth the money IMO...

smile its sunday its a program on sunday (wow!) mornings on bbc2 its d best program ever - they do funky dance moves which ya can do for your own leisure n pleasure in bed whilst eatin coco pops and smokin a reefa... ah the fun of sundays

ha ha HA, yeah rite, and i only know cos i have a nephew who lives around 4 miles away... na man thats a TOP NOTCH program! i hate the bigger geeza he thinks hes too cool i like devstar hes mega cute and he jus finks hes sooooo bad ass its funny. i wish theyd let him on the dex!

Tiz true Smile rules! and there aint nothin wrong with ferne, i think she's lovely! i'd love the chance to make her smile on a sunday mornin (i Wish!).. i'm a bit infatuated with her at the moment really..
As for recommendations i recon that you cant go wrong with:
1.Masters of hardcore (Sy & Unknown(amazing mix!) V's Breeze & Styles)
2.Original hardcore 2 the battle
3.Hardcore 2 (the deca dance 3cd set)
Spose it depends on which style of hardcore you like really as its all quite varied, but you'll soon pick it up and find the direction you wanna go. for e.g. Im mainly into trancey & happy hardcore but not so much on freeform or breakbeat.
Most importantly get out and get ravin! (if you haven't already) makes you realise what its all about!!!

I am generally into happy / trancey hardcore and wos wondering (seeing as I just moved) if anyone knew of any places near sunny ( ) Manchester to go to, cos everywhere I look its dnb hip-hop and house (which are all fine and well for most - but its no HH!!!!!).
Any suggestions appreciated (unless ur lying to me in which case I will make it my life's mission to hunt you down and torture you for the rest of eternity - but that's another story.....)

Dunno much about the scene up north, i tend to stay around the midlands or go down south. Try and get a few of your mates to go with you to a hardcore heaven (there's one on sat!) or down to london for a big weekender. Also seems to be a lot of hardcore in South Wales & Bristol area but that aint much help is it?
Any body else got any suggestions?
