there were a few main tunes that started me of; i loved Jimmy J and CRU-L-T Six Days; then there was Until We Meet Again which was a mix i heard on the radio, about 5 years ago now or something like that (i still got that taped and listen to it all the time, it was on soundz 94.3 if anyone remembers that station). and then there was power of love the mix scott brown did on the essential happy hardcore album; that was the best mix of that tune IMO.

If pac-man really had an effect on us, we'd all be runnin' round in dark rooms, listening to repetitive music and munching pills!!!

mine... was embarrassingly enough shooting star by Bang!
also cold as ice, but i would like to kno a few good mixes to d/l
also turn up the music, and chase has alot to do with me liking hardcore lol

i actually used to not like hardcore, cos perth is like a hell lil dnb obsessed place, but the dnb atmosphere here in perth is so horribly jaded and makes me not like it :(
At least the hardcore scene is still happy hehe

Don't have one particular song, only a CD - Bonkers 1, Hixxy Mix. Borrowed it off my mates little sis cause she thought it was s***. I didn't like hardcore at the time (I thought it was s*** as well!), was more into trance and techno, but the more I listened to the CD the more I liked it - and now I think it's the best CD I've ever heard without a shadow of a doubt.

back in '91 it was all just rave music and i used to listen to this pirate radio station, i liked the more bouncy, harder, faster sound (which became known as techno then hardcore) and one day i passed a record shop in belfast and i could hear the sounds played on the station, i went in and bought my first ever mix tape, by Dj Bass Generator. been Hooked on Hardcore ever since.
impossible to say what the first tune was i heard but the first title i knew was the famous breakbeat hardcore track SL2 "On A Regga Tip" witch started the hole jungle (now dnb) scene i sould add.
