Hiya bud....

Love of my life had nowt to do with me personally, but as far as I'm aware, it was originally a record by a band called Evoke that was produced and created by a pal of mine Barry Leng. I'm not sure if Barry actually wrote the song, but I know he used it for this act.

Evoke have moved on since then and have recently had success with "Arms of Loren".

NG liked the track and asked Barry if they could use the vocals and it was agreed. (Again, this is what I've heard so I could be wrong).

Its a great song, and was turned into a great HH track. Barry Leng is real Old Skool, he was responsible for the classic Amy Stewart hit "Knock on wood" and also the cover of Bryan Adams "Run to you" in 1992 (just after sesame street I think) which top tenned, vocals by Tony Jackson (RIP - sadly missed).

So there ya go, strayed a bit off topic, but that's where "Love of my life" came from as far as I know.

Cheers

Nick.

PS Barry.... if by a remote chance you ever see this, please get in touch.

"you'll always be the love of my life, the love of my life, you'll always be the one that i want, and i'm missing you baby"
