it's this kind of hate etc n the total knobends that make me stay out the way of this scene n just do my own thing been reading a few comments about it on fb and honestly makes me think there are some stupid people around not just in hardcore but in general it's got ****all to do with anyone on facebook so my opinion is they need to keep there ****ing mouth shut
i've just had to deal with an idiot who was abusing his dog n i'm still a bit pissed off (will be making a topic about that later to get your opinions and hopefully a bit of advice on how to deal with the situation) so won't say what i really think just incase people take it the wrong way

It all blew up in October 2012 and sy played a hardcore heaven in fen 2013, obviously he would have already have had the booking in his diary before it all blew up and I'm guessing slammin decided with sys consent to do the crb check, now we don't know what came back from it but the fact sy played at hardcore heaven in fen. 2013 says all we need to know, and also I can see why he hasn't been booked since by hardcore heaven/slammin vinyl as he isn't making new music but you would have thought he'd have been booked for west fest to play In the old Skool arena wouldn't ya
Also in the ravers choice poll the funniest thing was that no mc/ mc free got voted as second in the mc catergory hahaha

I have seen that face book page too. The person whom started this all off by feeling they needed to go public on a matter that should have been dealt with outside of the hardcore forum should be ashamed. Did he/they not feel that by putting up a post making people aware of it all before anything has been proven would only cause people to side up and end up causing arguments within the hardcore scene. What a bunch of ****ing idiots and ego chasing guys they are, these guys are well in the 30's prob too old for this scene anyway.
So many people have worked so hard within the scene for years doing a lot more for it back in the 90's only to see it end up like the piss pot scene it is now. I can see how it frustrates people.

exactly i'll bet that was part of the reason scott brown quit production for a while you can tell he's not too happy about the state of things with what he's been saying on fb and nor would i if i was him he's the biggest name in the uk hardcore scene so people should take not of what he says imo without him uk hardcore would be nothing...to me at least

This is tragic, it really is. I can't believe this has been dug up once again & in the same old unprofessional approach.
Chris says he's constantly being hassled about the situation, well sorry but surely he knew that would be the case for the rest of his career wether he likes it or not. Its really unfortunate but this will hang over the both of them till its either properly cleaned up or they retire.
Atleast if he had actually put some of the accusations to bed & helped clear things up it may have helped end this sorry saga but all he's done is ask more questions & cast even more doubt over the whole farce, its a disgrace.

As for this whole thing? I think it unfair that anyone should expect Sy to "give evidence" to the general public - firstly because it was a private matter and should have remained so. So I feel the worst he did was get caught with images that anyone who has ever looked at porn online has seen. This makes me think he was just very unlucky.
Even worst luck was having some of the "friends" he had.
When this originally blew up, I wrote a thing defending Sy, and I sent it to him to make sure it was okay if I posted it. Thats what adults do - discuss private matters privately. He did not want me to post it because he hoped it would all die down and go away.
I am dismayed (but sadly not surprised) that certain people in the scene thought it would be okay to just blurt out such damaging stuff. A mans career has been irrevocably damaged by rumour and idiocy. Since it happened, I have avoided those people like the plague. They are not to be trusted because they have shown they have neither the ability or the desire to act like mature adults.

What's frustrating to me is that I wouldn't care even if he was "guilty" of whatever he allegedly did.
I find the irrational behaviour that followed from everyone else fascinating but I've never had any interest in whether or not Sy did whatever it is he supposedly did.
If I had to like and agree with every artists' actions in order to enjoy their music, the list of people I could listen to would be very short indeed. In an extreme example, if I was a Lostprophets fan (I wasn't, they sucked), I'd still listen to their music now. I always thought their music was for kids, turns out I was right.

When I heard Will Smith was an Scientology member, I actually stopped watching his movies. Somehow it didnt stop me from watching Tom Cruise tho :P

Dave Da Raveman Done some digging today, results are quite revealing, if they are 100% true. So the story goes, Sy wins ravers choice, HTID are put in a position where they would have to ask Sy to play. Along comes our super hero, the voice of hardcore and tells HTID that if they book Sy , He will never play for them again. So do HTID grow a pair of balls, do they ****. They cancel the planned event on very mickey mouse grounds. And the voice of hardcore does it again and drags all this up. Chris then gets pressure put on him (Bullied) no doubt , that if he wishes to stay part of this exclusive club, he musty put out a statement regarding Sy. Again from the shadows the voice of hardcore is pulling strings. A few dj' have made it known that they will not appear on the same line up as Sy. Trying to put pressure on promoters. So far some of these promoters have stood up to these outfukkingrageous demands and have not given in. I am one of those promoters that will stand side by side with Sy Quosh because no ****er will ever tell me who I can and cannot book to play my events. Now lets look at the facts. Sy has put his hands up to a misdemeanour,If it was ANYTHING else he would have been in Crown Court. Because of the way society is now, call it the jimmy saville effect. You only have to look in the papers to see who is up in court for various serious accusations. People on here are saying I dont want my kids being around a pedo. Well what the **** , Sy is not a pedo, he and the justice system have proven that. Now lets look at the impeccable record of the voice of hardcore. This upstanding morally correct individual has done jail for "Street Robbery". Now I dont know for sure but I think it would be very unlikely if he had gone to jail for a 1st offence unless it was very serious or he had a criminal past. Im just using supersicion here and I maybe be wrong. Prehaps he had a shit judge?. Who knows. The same people know doubt that know the true facts about Sy. Personally I would sooner be around a person with a caution than a convicted street robber. So FCUK YOU MR VOICE OF FUKKING HARDCORE. You are a prize shit stirring CU*T
