Si Thompson Cubase will no longer be supporting anything below Windows 10 now. Just thought i would let some of you that engineer music know this latest news from Steinberg. I'm already on Windows 10 anyway.

Triquatra Still running Cubase 5.5. here, haha!

Really not looking forward to next year when I have to switch to Windows 10. Nothing against windows 10, I'm just not looking forward to having to reinstall everything!

It's for all Steinberg software. So that will include 5.5.

I had to sort my soft license out in the control centre a few weeks ago, I only did a normal update on Windows 10. Pain in the arse.

5.5 hasn't had an update in almost a decade, so it makes no difference to us older software users.

(as in they haven't been supporting us in that long, haha)
DJ_FunDaBounce I've been on windows 10 for over 2 years now.

Cubase 7.5 was no longer the priority for steinberg at that point since they were on version 8.5 or so when I switched to win10.

I'll just say that even without active support, crashes are VERY few and far between.

I'm on Cubase 9, but i've still got Cubase 4 in the drawer at home, complete disk and e-licenser dongle. I think i still have the user guide, which is a massive book. LOL
LeVzi I made the change not so long ago to Win 10, and Cubase 10, and both are running OK. The odd wierd bug here n there.

My G-A-S has been outta control recently, so trying to make sense of all I got now, and get something laid down.
