when did you stop seeing these at raves? for me it was about 2008/9.
when i first started raving around 2000, it was mainly, hi viz, gloves, glow stick, or a horn/whistle. (i had both)
thinking about it, it was about this time that id see more pissed up people in raves, not saying pissed up people are bad, as 90% of drunk people at raves are sound, the last 5/6 raves i went to, not doing pills n base, just beer. i really enjoyed. but i am a happy drunk!
but even drunk, you could tell a drunk raver to a pilled up raver.

I can't imagine a worse scenario, more drunk ppl than pilled up.
In the 90's if you saw a drunk person they were a rare occurrence.
But tbh drunk ppl were always the reason for any issues. Towards the end of the 90's I met a few pissed up people who were aggro, especially at the Sanctuary or Shepton Mallet. But as I said, it was rare.
My last but one rave I didn't take any drugs I drank, and still had a good time. But it lacked that rush value, the music wasnt much cop then mind.
I said goodbye to the scene on a packet of pro plus which made me feel like shite tbh. |

i mean at the smaller 'raves' that finish at 2/3am.thats when i started to see more drunk people, but i suppose with the early finish it world become more like a night club |
