MusicILove As some of you may know in 2020 Joey Riot did a Kicksterter for his new album. A few of the backer rewards included the Lethal Theory Digital Catalogue. With the description.
quote:
"Pledging for this award you will get all the tracks ever released on the label + all the Powerstomp tracks in digital format!"

Sadly when this reward was released in January this year it wasn't complete. There was a huge amount of things missing and the folder was a mess. Containing in some cases 9 copies of the same track in various states and formats. There was production stuff. Unfinished tracks and a spreadsheet claiming to have all the releases listed and was again far, far from that.

So I have made it my mission to complete and catalogue this label. With the goal of presenting Joey and Kurt with their 100% complete catalogue in the best quality possible.

This is not for piracy. I will not be uploading this to any dodgy sites. This is for Joey and Kurt to do with as they wish. I will only ask they give this collection to the backers who paid for it.

I have been working on this with people for 8 months now and we have reached a point where it's almost done but we need help sourcing the last few tracks from the Lethal Theory Digital releases. I believe LTD092 to be the very last Lethal Theory Digital release but am not sure. We also need help sourcing more information on 2 missing LTR catalogue numbers LTR057 & LTR058.

Additionally we have discovered Lethal Theory RAW to be a lot bigger than what is listed on Discogs. We are looking for any info on what was released. And missing files if we do not have them.

I have made a spreadsheet of all we have so far. Note! I personally own the Lethal Theory CDs and have ripped them bit perfectly. I am slowly adding them to the spreadsheet. Lethal Theory Raw releases are at the bottom.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1QKbSr5NAZxSnCrfmadN0w0XJIr3UfOKuqa0jLCLbABo/edit?usp=sharing

If you have any of the missing tracks or if you have any info on catalogue numbers we don't have listed please get in touch. Also if you have a Lethal Theory, Lethal Theory Digital or Lethal Theory RAW folder we would love a screenshot to allow us to try and gather more information. Mostly catalogue numbers and what was on that label. Or even if you have screenshots of the serious sounds pages. We have trawled through the Archive.org pages and I have been going through the website code to discover the release order of things.

But we still need more info and files.

Thanks for reading and I hope to be able to fully complete this piece of hardcore history before it's lost forever.
Alex Threat Hi mate, i will go on my laptop tonight once i am home from work and send you some screenshots of what i have got, if it would be of any help

Thank you. Everything will be helpful and is appreciated. :) Once this project is done I have other labels lined up for the same treatment.
Samination Joey should have said the same thing HU and VG said about the VinylGroover bundle. "Releasing all we got"

I believe Joey thought he gave everything. The folder was 109GB. The Spreadsheet only included most of the LTR releases. Completely glossing over the existence of Lethal Theory Digital. They wrote a new heading For Lethal Theory RAW but gave up there. Additionally the information they did have on Lethal Theory Digital was inaccurately classified as LTR. For example they have LTR066A1 As Joey Riot?vs?Technotrance - YRS Stomp3. That should be LTD066. They fooled me for a long time by adding in some LTD releases with XX on the end of the wrong catalogue number. They start this with LTR050XX Seduction &?Joey Riot?vs?Kurt - Don't Hold The Bassline. Which again should be LTD050. Some rows on the spreadsheet are coloured grey. Why? No one knows they didn't add a key.

My spreadsheet has a key for things. Also there is a random red line part way down. Just for fun I guess. :)
Samination I believe some of the LTD were on vinyl/LTR as well, and vice versa.

Yes this is true. I have noted that in the duplicates tab. Additionally it seems Talk To Andy was originally released on Lethal Theory RAW.
Alex Threat Talk To Andy was released on a Lethal Theory vinyl mate, https://www.discogs.com/Various-Dont-****-With-The-DJ/release/2562841 It's one vinyl i wished i had picked up now when it originally came out. I'm unsure how i missed it actually as i was still buying vinyl then before going digital.....
MusicILove Correct. However according to this it was also put up on Lethal Theory RAW as an MP3. https://web.archive.org/web/20101201092046/ href="http://www.serioussounds.net/shop.php/lethal-theory-raw/lethal-theory-raw-forth-coming/c_202.html" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://www.serioussounds.net/shop.php/lethal-theory-raw/lethal-theory-raw-forth-coming/c_202.html

I thought this was first but because wee have no accurate vinyl release date the vinyl may of been first then the digital on Lethal Theory RAW a few months later.
Alex Threat Ah, I remember serious sounds, i think it's where i purchased my first bunch of tunes digitally! Was it owned by Joey Riot? You've done some serious research into this mate!

I am not sure who owned it. But I don't think it was Joey.

Yeah we have been digging very deep. This wouldn't of happened without Archive.org.

Anyone want some nostalgia?
https://web.archive.org/web/20080720163836/http%3A%2F%2Fwww.lethaltheory.com/releases.htm

It's a massive puzzle and we are getting closer and closer every day to completing it.

I am just adding more of the CDs I ripped last week.

Shame most of the mixes on their HU CDs are all sourced from MP3s.
sebastianNL Respect for your work!!

Yeah Serious Sounds, here I bought my first hardcore mp3, "Joey Riot Feat Toni Leo - Do We Need The Music" :)

I checked my hardcore archive but unfortunately I cannot help you. Good luck!

Thank you for having a look. It's appreciated. :)
Samination Serious Sounds was run by either Joey or Kurt. At first it was basically just Lethal Theory, but then some other labels put their stuff on there.
MusicILove I have reorganised the spreadsheet. Each sheet contains the different Lethal Theory labels and various other things.

Only missing a few files and releases from Lethal Theory Digital.

I can inform you this is incorrect. Joey nor Kurt ran that website.
Samination Who ran it then?

A person or maybe a squirrel who wasn?t Joey or Kurt?..
MusicILove There was a person on here a while ago who said they were given a folder by Chris Unknown.

If that person is still around or if anyone knows who it is I?m looking for Joey Riot - Do We Need The Music (Sy & Unknown Remix)

I am working with Lethal Theory on this.

Please help us save this music.
Gazza1712 That person who was given the folder by Chris unknown was me.
That track wasn?t in the folder though as it?s a lethal theory track so he doesn?t own the rights to it and didn?t send it I guess that?s why.

Thanks for having a look. :)

I believe a WAV copy is out there somewhere. Hopefully we?ll come across it soon.

Id?e love for Quosh to release more things. I?ve always wanted their Save Me and Sure Feel?s Good remix?s.
Gazza1712 The quosh label and elite music was wrapped up in 2013,and I speak to both sy and Chris still every week or 2. Even though they no longer are in contact there will not be any quosh releases or even getting the older 90s stuff that isn?t available digitally out. I?ve got masters of a lot of it that isn?t available but they don?t even have digitals of all there early quosh releases.
I had the sure feels good sy and unknown remix but can?t locate it and the save me remix I do have but Hixxy is putting out the raver baby catalogue digitally next year so that will be made available.
Luz1978 Is there anything to show that the raver baby back cat will actually be released and/or the force and styles stuff?

This type of music is so frustrating to try and get hold of digitally!

Even having it on vinyl isn?t enough sometimes due to how poor the recording/pressing was back then for some releases!

I will remain hopeful!!!
Samination Going offtopic a little bit, but wasn't the f&s stuff supposed to be out THIS YEAR? :P
Mickey Init Going even further off-topic, was Boss DJ [QSH019] ever released digitally? I thought it was once on trackitdown, but can?t see digital release on discogs.

It took 1.62 ninja's to process this page!
