My new EP Empyromaniacal has just been released on Malice Records (sublabel of Kniteforce Records)! What makes this release very special for me is that it's my first EP on vinyl. Due to the history of the label, you probably expect oldschool gabber stylistically. That's true, but not quite.
Let me try to explain:
The tracks Hiraeth and Grenzgaenger are my interpretation of very happy mid-90s gabber. Think of the mor melodic tracks on Thunderdome 7-11 and add some happiness ;). Or think of old Happy Hardcore and add some hardness. You know what I mean... probably.
"Rebuild the Temple" and "Encounter with the Elements" are influenced by Frenchcore, but again it's very melodic. By the way "Encounter" is a tribute to a very old Prodigy track ;).
Not to forget: The bonus track (digital only), a special remix of my own track Forward Never Backward Ever.

I love me so happy gabber. It's like only the Japanese bother making something like that in the 2000's.
I like the tracks, but sadly, I don't have the money to pay for the vinyl (it will cost me at least the double when including postage and the VAT on top of that), so unless Kniteforce isn't selling digital-only versions, I will sadly have to pass. |

Glad to hear you like tracks! Yes, it's a bit of a pity that there is no digitial only option at the moment. If there is any news on this, I will let you know.
