djmarinecorpse I have collected over a while a ton of MP3s which are done anonymously under the name Silk Cuts which are sequentially numbered. I have gathered that they are some anonymous series of songs released under the "Silk Cuts" umbrella. But does anybody know who made them, or who published them, or any other info about them? Or, does anyone own any hard copies of them that they'd sell, etc.?

Thanks.

MC RizlaDizla Record label m8

Silk Cuts #12
Vol 12 - Mr Silk - (Ginie In A Bottle / Other)

Silk Cuts #11
Vol 11 - Silk Cuts - Limited Edition

you can get these @ www.imouk.com

"Oh my goodness, Oh my Gosh. Here we go with a badboy rush".
Dj Pixel I know Silk Cuts 12 (Genie in a Bottle) is by DNA. I'm pretty sure most of the other ones are Fade. Some can be found online at the same old stores (listed in other posts).

-Pixel-
Dj Pixel just my two cents, i think number 10 is the best.

-Pixel-
djmarinecorpse Ok, so you can still buy them?

djmarinecorpse Sorry, ok. So you can. Oh, and does anyone know where it is possible to buy the older Silk Cuts tracks?

virus Most were done by fade & bananaman, until #10, then Alphamagic took over the label. Fade & Bananaman sent out an email about this, and said alphamagic screwed them over, and silk cuts 11 & 12 are not part of the official series. (which is why these are 12", and #1 - 10 are 10")

there no one place that has all the silk cuts available for sale.. and most are out of print, so you'll have to scour the second hand shops in order to find them nowadays.

adam

djmarinecorpse Yeah. I hear that also Cafe del Mar made Silk Cuts 9, one of my favorites.

virus ^^ what??

cafe del mar do trance

fade & bananaman do hardcore

fade & bananaman rip off trance.
