kg4: does that mean you want to start producing (making new tracks) or you can already produce and you want to produce other people?

i started with dance eJay, but thats rubbish. its gona cost to produce. You need acid or cubase for sequencing, fruity loops for making drums,djsunrize.com has enuf samples on, just muck about an im sure u could find something!!!

kg4: software will only get you so far, but it's a good base to start. Software syths are okay but because most people on the planet have the same software the sounds they make normaly are not too orginal and thus you can't make those classic tunes, still nothing wrong with them until you can afford hardware.
