Skeenip The following is an extract from post on www.overdrive.com.au

"happy hardcore is ***** up wats the go with dressing up like a ****** fool, stop putting those stupid colours on n dressing like little kids at a fancy dress party when happy hardcore ravers grow up and relise that no clubs play that stupid music they will relise that happy hardcore is dead and stop calling yourseld candy ravers n watever else u call ur self get into real music like, house, deep funky house, breakbeats ant thing else becides happy ****** hardcore i dont care if u can do ur lille skier dance the same 2 steps the whole night grow up n will c the differnce. C ALL THE NORMAL PPL AT MOBILE HOME IT WILL @#%$! ON UTOPIA."

It makes me sad to see such close minded people ripping on the scene that they loved. What really ticks me off is that it seems to be happening more often overdrive (party info site) is just being plagued more by flames and b*tch fests. It was so bad they ripped the forumns out.

NB. Utopia an open aged rave styled NYE event. Mobile Home a more club orientated event.

"...It only takes one blast and that ass will be...wrecked...ruined...damaged...ripped, cross my path ya ass and get whipped"
Brian K i think they're just mad they aren't young any more and can't keep up w/ the beat =P
the thing that always seemed to intrigue me is that people that listen to hhc listen to all sorts of other music. but the people that listen to say house or techno only listen to their particular genre, saying that there's is better than ours. when of course we all know that they're the ones missing out on all the fun

"do not dream, you dreamed about me"
silver bah... he is tring to defend his choice in music by bashing others... he is the idiot... ignore people like this, they are just jealous that happy hardcore has more of a following.

you, me and hardcore forever.
MC RizlaDizla Haha yeah, this is just a silly little person who has got nothing better to do, and wants to meke them feel better by slaging off something. Lets all virtual bitch slap the silly billy.

Brian K : I love loads of other music, but happy hardcore is the 1 I listen to like I breath air. But I do have a m8 who listens to nothing but happy hardcore so I think its not always the same for each person.

Wot a nob though.

"Oh my goodness, Oh my Gosh. Here we go with a badboy rush."
"Oh my goodness gracious me, Badboy Dj, Wikkid Mc."
MC RizlaDizla opps sorry, I was talking about the person slating hardcore m8. Not you Brian.

"Oh my goodness, Oh my Gosh. Here we go with a badboy rush."

Brian K if there is a god of gods, he can be defeated, behold, my instruments of destruction, of which i alone control, the time is now at hand, soon the three worlds shall be mine....

ha ha hardcore will never die

Heist Good old Australian club contingency. The air of eliteism that has sprung up in recent years mostly due to the commercialism of the clubbing scene and every other tv ad having a dj/club setting.

This person is the sort me and my friends call 'sass and bide'. All about how good their clothes look, obsessed with whats the hottest genre this week and generally in it for the image.

It is sad, but here in brisbane the candy kids are all hard house heads and hardcore, while making a strong comeback to favor recently has been an outsider as it isn't trendy.

It makes me sad to think that even if hardcore comes back as the next big thing it will only be as a fad for the clubbing/raving populus of brisbane.

Brian K it's sad if people choose their music selection on popularity, this isn't f*cking junior high anymore. if that was the case i think everyone would be listening to jay z, oh wait most of the frat boys here listen to that anyway =P
i think it's interesting on how the more music gets labeled, the more and more segregated the rave scene becomes...

"do not dream, you dreamed about me"
MC RizlaDizla When hardcore was at its stongest thee must of been ppl going to raves or listning to the music just coz it was the trend then.

My m8 said that he use to have loads of ppl going mad for hhc then. Ppl coming round his place listning to it, or when in the summer he use to have he's stereo with him, loads of ppl would be likr yeah this is well goo. Those ppl now have gone on to many other things. Garage and hard house are the most common.

Again when hhc was at its peak, there loads of ravers. Now i think many have stopped due to its "kool trendyness" has gone from it and so they have gone onto the next music fashion.

Which means that only the true hardcore fans have stayed in the scene.

I love it and will never leave

its a shame that it goes like this al that you sad is true.

in holland there is also another big problem many young kids dont understand where its al about.
yesterday on the telly young kids at a youth center where listen to a song holland hardest and they tought it was about haiting of people abroad.
and the news makes said do the listen much to racism music.
but the was not about rasism.

very frustrating this, some people must get lessons to get smart.

we have here to many dumb people and the media is one of them.
one word mood making

plasma this kind of hate and music bashing is typical where I live.these kids are lost, they've had no one to show them how our scene is supposed to be. Its partially the fault of us older cats for not correcting them.if you check out stlraver.com youll see what I mean.these kids thrive on drama.

It's ok to be drunk before noon.
plasma correction,its stlouisraver.com

asphyxia I feel sorry for the ppl who have moved on with the trends. The Buzz hhc gives me every day is nothing more that heaven on earth. Gee.... What can i say... I Love the tunes.

Midway, wanna pull that copy of eyeopener out of the nose? I'm missing mine....

milo when you think about it, everything has it's time and place, i believe everything is a circle so hardcore will be prime again. It'll be the original ravers who know what it's all about. The true lovers of the music are those who stick to it through the rise and fall. Isn't raving all about enjoying it for yourself and nothing else? have fun and be free? It's those people who bash fans of a music which are those that aren't free from social bounds. It's a pity really, these people can't form their own opinions...

"It's all good..."
Peter_Gozenya I've only been involved with HHC for like 3 years now, and I dont know about in the rest of the world, but here in the Bay area CA HHC is coming on in a big way, the beats are getting faster (thanks to pitched decks) and the kids are starting to feel this music more. All of my friends make fun of me for djing this style of music but the also give me my dues for spinning a music I truly love. So look out USA HHC is comming to your town and taking over your crapy NRG scene.

Just cause your smart doesn't mean you can't act stupid!!!
