scouse bounce DMS lol, i think this rips been done really well myself prefer it to the old hardcore mix.
Kinda like with uk hardcore most scouse i cant get into cos it sounds wank but theres odd bits that are class.
Anyway about this vote i'm not really sure cos i love all those styles for different reasons.
Breaks is just groovy and got loadsa diff styles to it, commercial trancey to funky to techy can take a set on a journey well with it.
Trance was my main love for years the euphorias unbeatable, 97-01 mellow rushy stuff i'll always love it.
House i'm just listenin to a classic piano set just now, and my mate who dj's the electro stuff always gets new tunes that impress me.
And psy trance also rockin, is true what people say about needing to here it out a big system to get the full effect of the production. I'd listened on radios and found it really dull but it's not at all. Very complicated and creates a good party.
So aye i dont have a clue i jus love music
Knightmare
EBM

My vote went to other!!
Hardstyle is my prefered style altougth i also spin house, trance, techno and oldskool

EBM: Suicide Commando, Front 242, Combichrist, Hocico, VNV Nation, Covenant, Grendel, Aslan Faction, Assemblage 23 (with heavy futurepop influence)
Darkwave: The Crüxshadows, Das Ich (has a lot of EBM influence), Switchblade symphony, BlutEngel, Lacrimosa, Bella Morte
whispering
Other: Eurodance (in which i also include Super Eurobeat, BubbleGum etc eventhough some purists think they arent Eurodance :p)
Remember when i used Discogs, was adding some quality albums to the DB and some of the ****s i mean mods said to take my crap elsewhere -> took down all pending updates from all genres and never used the site again :p Been listening it well over 10 years and its still just as awesome as i first heard it.

Of course! How did I fail to mention KMFDM?! They're still going after all these years believe it or not! I'd compare them a little with Mindless Self Indulgence. (Infact they did an awesome mix of "Straight To Video" for Mindless Self Indulgence quite recently)

yup yup, it is nice to see bands like this still around after all the years (2 decades!) was really impressed with their straight to video mix as well.

hell yeah!
and I tend to avoid the term "industrial" as there is too much discussion as to what is real industrial and what's not. Some mix it up with EBM, others with rythmic noise, still others even throw in darkwave and the majority of ppl doesn't even differenciate between the regular industrial and industrial rock (like kmfdm/mdfmk)

I come from an era where, DnB was not even considered Techno, so I go back to that (92' these ravers I used to hang out with, including DJ Anonymous! If you believe that????)... Dark Step! I have to agree with you. I mean, a lot of drum & bass doesn't have that "glitchy" feel I like so much... Noisia does, but Pendulum, for instance, absolutely doesn't. Same counts for Sub Focus. Not that I don't like them, but they miss something... And Pendulum's new stuff is just crap in my opinion.
To summarize it, I prefer d&b made around the classic Amen break.

For me it would be House I guess. I listen to it all the time, wether I'm at home, in the bus, in a club or at friends' … and I was listening to it way back before I even heard of Hardcore.
So uplifting! I actually love everything that is uplifting, no matter what genre, good music is good music!

I like vocal & melodic trance/hands up/commercial dance. Anything happy/uplifting/energetic with nice vocals and a catchy melody. I hate minimal stuff and stuff without a proper melody. So yea I'm definitely going with trance and also because a lot of hardcore songs could actually be trance if you slowed them down and slapped on a bit more reverb. In fact I think I'm going to do some hardcore remixes of my tracks.
DJ Immenze
I love UK hardcore, i dunno which genre that comes under, i guess its similar in a way but not the same as the old happy stuff. :D

Handsup could be called a sub-genre of Eurodance genre group, but it's quite different from classic Eurodance and it didn't evolve directly of it.
EDIT: Handsup is also an evolution of Trance
