Yea, and they both copy Daddy DJ :P AFAIK Pretty Rave Girl is the newest.

DarrenJ Al Storm also remixed Nick Skitz awful version of this song.
Vitalism the video is cool, the song is lacking.
Leto DER MUST BE A CONSPIRASSY!
Meph751 it's more than just similar lol

DotA.

And in general, people should read Jole's blog post on his site, it will clear up alot of annoying recurring questions about Pretty Rave Girl.

edit*
My fav copy is S3RL's. I think it was a good idea of his to change the lyrics and re-sing vocals like that, much better written than Basshunters one.
Gabee Basshunter is a twat, all his songs are awful and sound just the same.
rosin007 who made the original rave girl? we wants it!

indees
whispering I liked Boten Anna, had that geek feel to it. But then they ruined that feel by releasing the crappy english version. DotA is pretty good too.

Well the original song that S3RL and Basshunter based their tracks on was a track called Daddy DJ. Basshunter did the same vocoder thing same keys different lyrics and re sung them as well as s3rl, and they both made their own trax of it.

i mean the rave girl, cause i'm sure i've heard the lyrics somewhere in a slower and deeper voice. do not have to be the original
TypeR http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mdQ9FFty500

you have.

i hope s3rl is getting paid.

*Edited because i stand corrected*

haha, never thought i'd see the day

TypeR but that lends to the idea that maybe he didn't write it. but, i was talking with a close friend today that says that s3rl is a very honest guy and if he says that he wrote it, then he did. hopefully he is getting royalties, since i'm sure that that hip hop song is pushing units, and a lot of them no joke.
Samination Im pretty sure It's a remix of DotA because I think S3RL thought that was the original (and not Daddy DJ).

Did S3RL write/sing the vocals in it then? cause that's still not too common in Hardcore :P
TypeR read his blog at his myspace. he said that he wrote and sang the lyrics.

if that is the case, then he needs to get paid from the hip hop act using his vocals sample.

watch the video that i posted, a direct rip of his vocals.
