Audio Warfare Cheeky bootleg here by me and an old mate of mine who used to go under the name Kal-El. He started this years ago and now I've finished it up. :D

Will prolly be given away as it's a bootie but would like some thoughts before I get it mastered etc.

*edit*

Right, got this finished and improved the mix now. Still needs a master but it's getting there. :)

Mortis "The file link that you requested is not valid"

Gutted. Was this made with MJ Dream?
Audio Warfare Try again mate, should be fixed. ;) I copied and pasted and it cut part out!

Yes mate it's me and MJ. We managed to scrape the bits together from an early version he did a long time ago now so I could take over and finish it up.
Mortis Not seen him around for ages. The track is sounding really good. I love the melody. I'd prefer the vocal to be pitched up a bit though, and also I think it might flow a little better if you take out a few of the extra kicks and just kept it basic 4/4. I think that would make it a bit more stompy, just like the kicks are after the second breakdown - keep that all the way through :)
Audio Warfare Yeah he's not doing any producing or out like that these days but we still chat from time to time.

Nice one mate. :) I would have like the vocal to be high pitched too but I couldn't get the bass right that high up so had to bring it down a bit unfortunately. It does sound better all round though so just got to live with that.

Funny you should mention the kicks as I only added them extra bits last minute haha. Was just trying to get more changes in there as the riff repeats a lot. I think you're probably right though so I'll take them out again. Cheers mate. :D
Starstruck The Rocketeers Mix by DJ Daydream on Red Rocket is one of my fav. Hardcore tracks of all time, such a fantastic track. I've also done a couple of versions. I'll check this out.

I like how you used the original Moratto vocals - it keeps the flheyvhour. I love the riff and drop, it offsets the oldschool tone of the breakdown. All in all, great tune. :)

Ionosphere ....and I'm waiting for the 'improved' version.
acidfluxxbass Love it man! :D
D-tor Awesome, and I don't think the extra kicks aren't bad. They're not annoying ha ha

I also prefer the vocals pitched too.
Audio Warfare Cheers everyone. :D Unfortunately the vocals will be staying at this pitch as I can't pitch them a whole octave without it going too far and sounding dodgy. The track is only 170bpm though so people will pitch it in sets I would imagine. Maybe I could find a happy medium with the kicks by turning the ones off the beat down a touch more. Would keep the changes there but help keep it stompy too.

Thanks mate, glad you like it. :) We didn't want to butcher a classic so good to hear that someone really fond of one of the early mixes is diggin it. Tried to keep the original vibe. Yeah I remember hearing a couple of decent mixes on AWF actually, they where wicked man.

Audio Warfare Nice one mate. 8) Just finishing up a nice acidy intro for it at the mo. ;) Have cleaned up the lead and percussion too and it's sounding much better.

MJ Dream/Kal-El was a member on here going back a fair while. Used to make some wicked tunes but be packed it all in. :( We decided that I should finish this up and there may be some more bits finished if we can dig out some old material to work with!
