ozmium i always for get the code, and when i get it a little right, it just comes out as a white block with some html on the side, it would be nice if we had a youtube button ;)

In the following, I'm using these brackets: ( instead of these brackets: [ because it will confuse it and come out all mental.

Open with (youtube)

If this is your link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mhBewFyhcpQ you take everyhing after "=". So in this example: mhBewFyhcpQ

Then you close it with (/youtube)

So you're left with: (youtube)mhBewFyhcpQ(/youtube)

Here is the actual outcome. So, if you 'Reply with Quote' to this post of mine, you can see for yourself exactly what it's meant to look like:
