The only Jungle/DNB track that I ever made. The track remains unreleased.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6xNrsXc0KEU&feature=feedu I mixed it on a cheap analogue mixer for low-fi oldskoolness and put it through a pair of valves to give it a warm vinyl-like sound. Enjoy ;) |

Excellent stuff! Good to see you're still around. Valves are always very, very, welcome. |

Glad you like it!
And glad it'd not just me that likes the sound of valves... ;) Adds some real harmonic qualities to the mix. |

Haha. Really though, who doesn't? Anyone else doesn't count. Valves make everything sound better. It's this analogue aspect that is hugely missing from recent music. |

nice tune, love champion sound even though it was cained to death |

To be more specific on what i like, i really like the snare. Fat. Reminds me of certain 97ish DnB that has those kinds of snares, which i really like. |

Agreed with the others,
I actually remember since getting into hardcore around 1996, the first CD compilation I bought wasnt until 2000, "dreamscape the millennium collection" and the first CD I put on was vibes's mix cd....
The first track to play was "the sound of love". Spent years after trying to see if anyone had any dubplate cuts of that track and "journey through heaven" (with no luck) which I think were his best tracks but never got a full release :(.
James was probably 1 of the best but most underrated producers of the "Happy Hardcore" era.
"Night Driving" was a track that reminds me of something..... cant remember now and "the only way forward" used to remix me of vikings/settlers the game |
