Dys7 It's been confirmed - Earlier this morning, DJ Clusterphuck (Sean Capps) passed away in his home.
He was an amazing person, and a great asset to the scene.
He will be missed. I send my thoughts out to his friends, and his family.

Information posted by his girlfriend is what we know so far -

As I've received so many messages requesting an explanation of what happened, I will share with you all that I know *sigh* (this has been extremely difficult for me): On Thursday morning I woke in my bed to find that I was alone. This was odd since Sean ALWAYS slept later than I did (the man loved his sleep). I immediately went to look for him. Our bathroom light and vent were on. I began knocking
loudly and calling his name- no response. I got a friend who lives with us to jimmy the door open. As soon as the lock popped, I ran in to find Sean lying face-first in the water in the bathtub (he often took baths to ease muscle pains). I drained the tub and began screaming his name. 911 was immediately called, but by the time the paramedics arrived, there was nothing that they could do for him. I cannot describe to everyone the feeling of utter helplessness I felt when the police informed me that he'd passed. I fell apart and was eventually taken to Scott & White hospital. I have been heavily sedated ever since I have Panic Disorder and I'm having such a difficult time dealing with this. I'm trying very hard to forget that last image of him, but it's not easy as you could imagine.
Nobody is entirely sure why it happened or what caused it. Several of us have our theories, but nobody will know for sure until the autopsy is completed in Dallas. Information will continue to be posted as it becomes available.
I'd like to thank everyone who has taken the time to message me and send their condolences. It's been a true comfort to know that he left so many lovely people to help myself and his family get through all of this. Sean was a beautiful person and he kept only beautiful people in his life. Thank you all for everything."

Well I didn't dislike him either. Yes it's tragic that he passed away, and that his girlfriend and friends had to find him in that condition. I'm very sympathetic to them and his family.

But it's also tragic that someone who is liked/loved by so many is also attached to negativity.
Triquatra never heard of him, but my thoughts go out to those he leaves behind.

Same here. This is horrible, my thoughts go out to his girlfriend, family, and friends.
D-tor I'm not aware of the negativity surrounding Sean, nor of others' opinion of him. I only know my own.

I was very critical of him. I wasn't afraid to point out a transition I didn't like in his mixes. I also praised him when I believed it was due. We had many disagreements on mixing and on how to handle promotion songs, but he was always a joy to talk to. He really just loved to DJ for an audience in the way he saw fit.

I'm really disappointed that he's gone. He was just beginning to produce as well. At least the only track he finished was based off of something he really loved.

This is also the first death in my life of someone I really talked to and got to know, even though we weren't close. I'm not very sure how I should be handling this.
Archefluxx I find it hard to believe that he did attract any negativity. He was generally a very uplifting and fun guy.
Warnman Sad news! R.I.P.
Ken Masters That's a strange one, & a real shame.

I've never heard anything from the guy but thoughts go to the family.
DJ D-Luc-D Very sad news, but I'll admit I didn't really listen to his sets. Terrible to hear either way :'(

RIP Sean Capps
The Dopeman sad news never heard any of his sets but i think i will have to find some now...it seems he was pretty popular
latininxtc here's his soundcloud for those who have never heard anything from him. http://soundcloud.com/sean_capps
