cloudff7 Hey all! I'm new to HappyHardcore.com and I had alot of questions. I 1st of all would like to know if this is THE happyhardcore that I see in as the author for so many songs I search for on *edit*. Also, I'd like to know if there is any interest here in helping me get the music I wrote out to the rest of the world. Music is important to me and I really wanna get connected with other artists that know more about DJing than I! Perhaps I can work with some of you DJ's out there? Tell me what's up!

happyhardcore isn't an artist, it's the genre of music you speak of. People on Kazaa and all those other peer to peer programs don't know who the original artist was so they classify it as happyhardcore or even put the name anabolic frolic as the artist (he made the happy2bhardcore cd series. He's a dj, not a producer [besides the tracks he coproduced for chapter 5 ])
Like tommo said, listen to the radio and look at the real-time tracklisting for all tune names and the artists who made them, you'll have a better insight on hardcore then
Oh yeah, don't be a pirate (Arrhg) and dl mp3's, it's bad for the hardcore world.

What? This whole time I thought happy hardcore was a series of English porn movies. Well crap, I'm at the wrong place. I've sure wasted a lot of time here, you all have a good life ;)

cloudff7: Seriously though, to answer your question happy hardcore is the absolute, undisputable best music you could ever experience...and I mean EVER! Sometimes I wonder if I'll be listening to this when I'm an old man and I think I will. I just doubt I'll ever be able to 'grow out' of hardcore. There's just so much room for it to evolve and diversify.

others: Think back to 5 years ago, could anyone have possibly predicted some of the new sounds that are made today? Probably not and hardcore 5 years from now? Who knows, but I'm sure it'll be great! Now that I went off on a tangent that may just confuse the person who posted this, welcome to the board! New hardcore fans are just as important as the old ones.

cloudff7 Thanks alot guys. I don't want you to think I'm some kind of music pirate. Arg! But I did only learn about this place because of so many different things I saw that had the name HappyHardcore as the author. I don't even have the internet at home right now, so I can't download stuff, but I have been writing stuff and I was just hoping that this would be a place where maybe I could meet others like me and maybe get pointers and exchange tips and maybe even get heard. Can anyone elaborate on how that all works?

DJ_Solstice cludff7: theres a guy on this board who i know very well who has just produced his own tunes and got them signed to a record label, as well as independantly launching his own record label. his user id is 'OliG', or, if u wanna get in contact with him, then email [email protected] , he should be able to point you in the right direction........

strychnine ^^ just be careful when you talk to Oli G - if he's not in a good mood, he might wack you over the head with Oli Ghalebi's Patented STFU Stickā„¢. Trust me, it isn't a pleasant experience.

CandyAss Dude, I think I met The Happy Hardcore once. I always thought he'd be a nice guy, since his tunes are so uplifting and all, but he was a real jerk. He told me to piss off and poured beer on my head.

Wait, and why does he sound like a girl in most all his songs? He must have backup singers or something.

CandyAss Southern Cali actually has a decent hardcore scene as far as the states go. There's a party on the 18th of January that Brisk is playing at (pretty much a God of happy hardcore). I was thinking of flying down for it actually, I'll send you a link if you're interested in going.

Stevie c Yeah Drum and Bass battered me outside a club once when I said i was a friend of trance, Him Gabber and Deathcore started pounding me......luckly techno came and broken it up

Your into the sound of Rebellion
CandyAss Good 'ole techno being the peace keeper as usual.

You know, when breakbeat hardcore first came out, the original techno pioneers (Atkins, May, Saunderson) skuffed at it and thought it was a bastardization of their music. Oh well, even if they're snobs they're still badass musicians.
