Its got:-

1. New tone arm- lighter and better for the wearing on needles +for srcatchin'

2. Blue L.E.D's everyway lights are!

3. Still no dips in the '0' pitch.

AND,FINALLY!!!! 4. Pitch range up to + /- 16 - WOW WEEEEEEE.

So is this true and can any1 give me info on this, etc (price, release, etc).

Cheers for any help!!

Once Hardcore, always HARDCORE! xxxxeva!
Exhile I think there are mk5s but i blieve that they are only a limited edition turntable going for around $1000 each. Have a look on www.1200s.com for more info

silver They are not limited, I had a demo model and they are the new model.

sdavies067: Everything you said is correct except one thing, you can't pitch all the way upto 16, you can only double pitch, meaning if you are at +8 and you want to goto +8.5 you can't, you would have to press the double pitch button and quickly move back to 4.25 (old scale) or 8.5 (new scale).

Just the same way the 33 and 45 button works.

you, me and hardcore forever.
fazza they sound sweet!!

am I the only one that sees this is a bit silly? I'm no bashing, but surely they could have made a bigger pitch fader or something?

Exhile Well they ent the oly ones to do it this way. The numark ttx1 are the same. Mind you i dont understand it either

Don Giovanni Yeah i agree with atomicb just sounds really awkward and seems like it could be more annoying than useful at times.

Maybe if you played on it long enough you'd get used to it...

'Together united as one indeed, WE ARE THE HARDCORE FAMILY!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Exhile Well ididnt see a problem with the 8 % pitch on the old techniks. That was more than enough and its more accurate than 10 %

Peace, love and unity

Dj Francus
Xenochrome Using a +8% / -8% scale also allows for more accurate pitch adjustment.

DJ_Solstice if you bought them from japan and imported them into the uk they work out at only around £400 each! - we worked it out on ush once....

Here's another site, also giving details and trying to outline a popular arguement regarding one of Technic's rival turntables, the Vestax PDX-2000

Dave!
hardcorelover I bet im the only one here with the SL1200 Limited Edition Gold Plated
only 10,000

heh

Tricky AB um...yes...yes you are...I guess...

When my friend goes to Japan this summer, I might ask him to buy them for me and ship em' out...

Kaffine Um, yeah, okay ^-^; And I've got a copy of wanting to get high on hechtech that I feel like just giving away. e.e;

Broken They sound pretty sweet, but hey, if it ain't broke don't fix it. My M3Ds work just fine with the +-8 pitch. If they really need to change the techs, I would say put reverse on them puppies.

.... in any case, still the best turntable around IMO.

You need people like me so you can point your feckin fingers... and say "That's the bad guy."

Me? I don't have that guy. Me? I always tell the truth... even when I lie.
