strychnine Strictly for backup purposes, of course ... I'd like to know what programs can rip a CD into one big mp3 instead of individual tracks.

DJ Mouse yeh we know we know, you're ripping all the bonkers cd's to file share programs

on a serious note,i have a program called audiograbber which rips cd audio into wave files and then into mp3. but it doesn't do one big mp3 SO if you save them as wave files and load them into soundforge or wavelab, just keep copying and pasting them till you have one big wave file, then save as mp3

Xenochrome Pyro.
You can just copy from the CD as a WAV file, remove the track markers, and save as an MP3.

Ya got me there, Mousey-boy, ripping all my hardcore CD's to burn-quality mp3 (192kbps) and sharing them all over the world through p2p is exactly what I'm doing ... over my lightning-fast 56k modem

Anyways, thanks for your help guys . I'll have a look-see around and get back to ya's if I'm still stuck.
