Gaz mace-E 1988 Hello all, just looking to share with you all a scouse house track I made a while back now, I know some of you don't mind scouse house so meh, any opinions and feedback welcome. This track is a complete original and at the time of making it, it was well into the summer and I couldn't think of a name for it, so because of that and the fact its quite a bouncy tune I called it summer scouse! Also a scratch sample of mine in the track too haha.

Any feedback is really appreciated guys n gals!
DJ_FunDaBounce I like the scratching. The rap samples keep it nice and busy, too. The melody though, dunno. It's cheesy, but in an unfulfilling way.

The lead patch clashes somehow with the scouse elements. seems a bit flat, too.

one last thing. I would try to keep it shorter especially since there aren't that many changes going on. Trim it down to 6 minutes or so. would really tighten it up.
Gaz mace-E 1988 Thanks for the feedback :). Yeah the melody I kinda went on a wim at the time and just stuck with it, but I do feel it needs backing up, unless that is what you mean by sounding flat? As for length I also agree with you there, the intro segment seems too long to me now and unnecessary, the middle section for example with the solo scratching, was intended for an mc to freestyle for example, but without it its kinda drawn out haha.
DJ_FunDaBounce I didn't mean flat melody-wise. It's the synth patch/timbre you chose for it. Much prefer the supersaw that comes in a little later in the track.
DjZelous Yooooooooooo! this a dope ass track!!!!! the melody is killer! but i wish the sound of the synth would be "Fatter"
Edit: putting this on a cd for the car for sure!
Gaz mace-E 1988 @ DJ FBD, yes im with you now sorry, that supersaw riff is actually the first sample layered onto another to create that sound, guess I should of let it kick in with that lead.

@DjZelous, thankyou!! Yes feel free to Download it etc :) makes it worth it knowing someone else can get enjoyment out of it, I have a few more scouse house tracks I've made which I may post up sometime :)
