StrifeII nah i use a proggie called hammerhead, its quite good for making fills. you can get it from cnet.com if you search for it. It's freeware, so its err..free! it comes with basic kicks and a few loops etc.

silver ourhappyhardcore: please don't post all caps.
Soren To make a decent snare roll you need a few things. First of all you need about 3-4 different snare samples. Make sure they are all similar, but different. By alternating thru them in a repeated or random order you get a much better sound than using just one snare sample. Second you need a bandpass or lowpass filter. Using a filter to bring in a snare roll rather than just fading in makes it sound about 10 times better. What U do is bring the roll in with the low-pass filter and then use the band-pass (or a high- pass) once it maxes out for the last few seconds to cut it back, slam it back in, and warble it in funny ways to make it sound cool.

^_^

PS: That isn't a set formula BTW. But U do need several samples and filters. Once you have those 2 things mess around with the filters and snare arrangement a lot to create quazy effects of ur own :)

cookietrip143 hmmm...
I´m not sure I understand.Do you mean starting slow then speeding up like at the end of steam train remix or gonna b all right(ham mix)?
or like the apollo 13 pt. 2 fill.
the only way I know how to do the first one would be by recording the tempo changes on the sequencer(cubase or something equally pro) but I dunno if that works in fruity.
the second one can b done by choosing the 32 step thingy and doubling your bpms.
I hope that helps.

StrifeII even better just make one with one snare/drum sound and use a flanger!! works for me!!
