DjXTCEE I was born in England and lived there for 20 years. I was big into (and still am) the happy hardcore scene.

I moved to wisconsin in the us and oh boy did I make a mistake. I brought all my hhc cd's and tapes over here and I installed a cd player into my car. Now that it is hot I have my windows down and my musik loud....I get some very weird and rude comments about how the musik sounds.

I feel that there is absolutely no HHC scene in wisconsin and hopefully with my influence and constant playing of HHC, hopefully it will take off. When I go to a club and ask the dj to play such a song...I get told "I have no idea what you are talking about"

The most responses I get is hardcore is like heavy metal...Errrmmm NO. Any of you know how big HHC is here in the states? I have not heard much in the way of others liking HHC and I can only get a very limited selection of cd's from media play, there is absolutely NO vinyl here.

silver Sounds like you need to start your own parties or DJ yourself at other parties and get the word on the street about happy hardcore....

You could also buy a HappyHardcore.com T-shirt and wear that around :) </shamless plug>
DjXTCEE Never thought of that...DOH. I think the best would be to play mostly older HHC tunes, most of which are my fav as I have not liked much of the more recent tunes.

Thanks

silver no problem... I am sure there are alot of members of happyhardcore.com that would help setup, DJ and general stuff. Any questions you need answered just ask here.

DjXTCEE Thanks for the support and words of encouragement...

I am in the early stages of setting up a smallish venue...now all I need is to spread the word. Then hopefully there will be a few supporters and...well it may take off in this city. I am bangin on the record shops over here, esp media play to get some decent HHC cd's and even some vinyl...there is always hope!!
