Silver: Have you ever seen a beer by the name of Yebisu? A friend of mine says it's the best beer he's ever tasted, so much so that some beer-hating friends of his even liked it. Just curious if it's at all popular in Japan.

Soh..ree Silver! I like my VB, but only on tap at o'malley's for $6.50 a jug. Cold, Frothy cause i can't pour and backed by blaringly loud Oz rock from the pub's resident band 'The Schitts' (Not their actual name i just called them that once when i'd had enough of 'Land down under' by men at work).

and if u eat while u drink u cant taste the cider especially if u have a curry

I only drink beer when I go out to the clubs....just tap beer, don't often know what kinda beer it is, but I prefer heineken or budweiser. But don't like beer that much. Mostly I drink vodka...drink the whole bottle, barely get drunk...the advantage of vodka is it won't make your breath smell

If you get it cheap Henry Weinhard's Private Reserve is really tasty. It's at Albertson's for 6.99 a 12-pack all the time where I live. But if you've got the cash (or the connection) Newcastle Brown is where it's at.

Amoretti (good Italian beer)
My favourite of all though, would have to be ¯ywiec (pronounced Jev-yets). DAMN good polish beer. hard to find here and can be a little pricey but if can get your hands on some TRY it.
