Dosnt bother me as I dont listen to Upfront Hardcore, Im leaning towards Gabber (old skool Gabber up to 1998) now and still love Bouncy Techno which I doubt there will be anything like that on CEH4 so will give it a miss!

I, too, wonder what on earth went wrong with CEH3... The two first were awesome and I can count the songs I like on 3 on my two hands. Biggest highlight was Forever Young (ace tune!) on CD3, Crash on CD2 and Silver Water on CD1. If I were to decide the biggest highlight on 1 or 2... I just wouldn't be able to choose. :P
CEH4'd better be as good as 1 or 2 or even better (though it would be hard)! ;D |

I actually thought Volume 3 was good. Probably on a whole liked it better than Volume 2.

yeah 3 were alrite but thats just it. it were ok, the first 2 imo were pretty good n the third dint really live up to its predecesors, but hopefully the fourth'll be another good un. |

i found i prefered breeze's track selection for CEH2 than styles', the only 2 tracks i didnt really like being dark like vader and hardcore dj. |

they should do a mid skool set thatd be awesome. bring out the bad boy and underground and rushins. yeh id rate that. a freeform set as well would be spot on. and a jungle set. chuck in some iron maiden as well for kicks 2 minutes to midnight or hallowed be thy name. some dnb/rave would be cool as well. break out the prodigy spitfire or firestarter or sumthin

Looked what popped up on the new HTID 25 event flyer in the UK! The Clubland X-treme hardcore 4 artwork! We've managed to snip off and rotate the packshot into something that is a little easier to see on your computer monitors (we hope!).
The event also is the launch event for the CD, while many rumors have been flying around the internet on the actual release date, we couldn't get anyone official to lock down the release date for HappyHardcore.com to post a news story about, so we're calling this event flyer official enough! The release date for the album is December 3rd 2007 since it is written on the flyer.
The 3 disc CD will be mixed by Darren Styles, Mark Breeze and Hixxy. Interesting to note since Hixxy is no longer under official contract with Resist (the record label) his disc technically can be more of a full DJ mix disc.

I'm gonna wait 4 the tracklist to come out and be available 4 preview on juno. After I listened 2 the previews on juno i convinced myself that the 3rd vol. wasn't good enough 4 purchase. I did really enjoy the 1st 2 volumes. I especially liked the Hixxy cds on those. I truly was disappointed w/ the trax on the 3rd vol. it sounds like they were in a rush 2 get it out there. |

hixxy aint that bad mortis, not like styles, who is bad these days (except that dnb track he keeps droppin these days, i do like that) hixxy in his live sets of late have have been very enjoyable with a bit of everythin mixed in ie todays cheese, old happy hardcore,my fave era sounds (03 - 05) even bit of gabber. hixxy will always be a legend for me, the things hes done for hardcore is unbelievable |

^^ I'm not one of those "I hate Hixxy coz of Raver Baby" types (95 was the time), I just don't like Hixxy as a DJ. His older tracks for the most part where really good, I do like alot of his remix's of recent tracks, just don't like him as a DJ, don't rate him much (see Bonkers 4 as an example).
I have a lot of respect for Hixxy but I would rather not have another CD with him mixing. Same goes for Sy and to a certain extent these days Scott Brown. |

thats fair enuf if u dont like his djin, gota agree with the scott brown comment tho, he aint been upto scratch for a while. cant even remember when his latest track was, hes takin the piss with this livewired project too, which i was told was out in june, but it was delayed due to his broken arm (which is fair enough) then wer'e told sumtime in september, september cums n goes then .............nothin, fair enuf if thers complications but weve not even had no explanation from steve@nocturnul or nothin, ive sent emails with no reply, i know other people have too, i bet many other people have too, but nothin, i mean this bloke was one of my all time greats, but at the minute it seems to me like he aint interested in the scene OR the ravers |

Now it's a marketing term, it's just a disc of hixxy's material. For the first 3 releases Hixxy was under DJ mixing contract with Resist and couldn't "mix" another CD for any other company. That aint a problem anymore. |
