so to cope with the amount of music we?re putting out, we have started a small direct store with pre-sales and older stock, downloads, first 2 are:
Dark Shadows 6 (CD & Digital)
Dark Shadows - The Others (CD & Digital)
Al Storm - Revolutions Of A Broken Mind
24/7 Merchandise (Football tops etc)
www.247hardcore.co.uk
www.soundcloud.com/alstorm for clips and all that!
It?s a new store so if there are any problems, drop me a PM
Everything will still be on HU, this is just to pre sell CDs, and digital stuff so it will run alongside :-)
Cheers!

As you mentioned digitals, is the 24/7 Retro sold as is, or has something happened to the quality on a bunch of the tracks? Quite a few of them showcase mp3 artifacts
alstorm
Which Tracks specifically? let me know ill see if i can source better versions, i wasn't as organised back then, some stuff had to get taken from CD's as at the time it was the only available version. Obviously there is a chance i had burnt MP3's to disk, let me know ill look into it!

All of the Remix Reloaded tracks have clear artifacts. if I had noticed, I would've contacted you already 4-5 years ago, when you put the tracks up for sale on other websites like Junodownload, since they are the same.
For the rest, is a little random, but if you want, I could try to give a more in-depth list as a PM sometime this weekend

Thats the only versions i have ever had then, but i will look through some old drives.. the reloaded stuff was all a WAV catalogue i've had on my drive, what had happened to them before i got them is anyones guess, never realised there was issues, but let me know the others as you find them and ill see if i can find better versions :-)

I know I have asked this lots, but any ideas as to when your 'Have It All' remix is getting released?
Also, Scott Brown's remix of 'Kickin' Hard'?
Thanks.

Have It All still has the same distortion problem as the Just another Label Bundle Version. Interestingly the issue isn't on the Happy Hardcore Underground version. Which is annoying especially as I got the CD from HU so there won't be any update or file fixes. Very disappointing as this is one of the few reasons to get this release as most of it is duplicates. Oh well. Thats the last new CD I buy, been burned too many times with these CD's and bundles. Digital with audible track previews from now on.

nice to swoop have it all, but i wish i didn't already own half the tracks from the first disc, off the last few hardcore heavens. kinda redundant.
hey, especially without kickin hard!!! >:(

I bought a bunch of Underground tracks off Beatport years ago. Stuff that sounds so bad it shouldn't be sold in my opinion. I made a long post about it here and got flamed by a bunch of people. Al Storm even showed up and basically said hardcore artists didn't do a good job keeping track of their productions. These came out with the recent retro bundles and it's the same story - some sound so bad they're unlistenable. I'm still happy to have the complete bundles but some of it will simply never be heard.
Looking through the Warped Science and sub-label bundles off HU, it's the same story. You flip through them and much of the older stuff has been converted to wav from mp3. It usually isn't audible, but it's easy to tell with a spectrogram that reveals all the compression artifacts.

There's loads of colours available, I think it just shows what's in stock at the time.

I can comfirm this. tracks like Lisa Abbott - Far & Away, The Gladheadz - Drug Addicted Psycho (Scott Brown Remix)
all of them have evidence of lossy compressions

Al? Are the dark shadows albums cds or digital? Im asuming it would say if it was digital. Been meaning to pick them up but missed the first 3 before they sold out through HU. I dont want to start a series halfway through.

an unfortunate side effect of the HH albums, my favourite tracks i wanted on HH, but equally they fit as part of a collated album like broken mind. But i did fit a lot of other music on to make it worthwhile on both :)

For me the original is still the best (Noddy & Big Ears Mix). I know the new remix isn't out until tomorrow so can't say how it's going to compare but for me it's better than Vinylgroover remix.

The In your Face remix for me is the best of the lot. The intro alone is fking rocking tbh
That Eufeion remix is ****ing awful tbh just a mess.

Just asking, is possible to drop the lastest Hardcore Heaven to the 24/7 Store? Since Hardcore Underground didn't shipped my package for a year due Royal Mail problems (weird Royal Mail problems) and they probably won't drop anything in CD format, just in digital. Why not?
Thought I had remembered a Toytown remix in a mix had downloaded years ago. Found the tracklisting and the mix, Reese did a breakbeat mix which included a Toytown bootleg by Reece. Sounds quite interesting in breakbeat style.
