Let suppose that HU8 gets a release. What DJ could made a mix and why?

If HU8 gets a regional disc
- Sc@r & Technikore: Aussie Hardcore Action, Scarred Digital vs OneSeventy. Plenty bangers
- Ryan Kore & Nobody: US Hardcore Action.
- Fracus & Darwin vs Al Storm & Rob IYF: UK Hardcore or HU vs 24/7 Soundclash Full DJ Mix
- DJ Shimamura & M-Project: Japan Action. Some euphoric Japan stuff.

If HU8 gets a typical genre ride.
- Brisk & Scott Brown: The classic pair. Starting some good kicks and finishing with some gabba.
- Fracus & Darwin vs Bananaman: Another choice for the modern Happy Hardcore with HU vs 24/7 Hardcore action.
- Chris Ross vs Jack In Box: Drum & Bass, Breakbeat, Grime, Drumstep.
- A.B & Cyrax: Freeform.

NEW EDIT
Line up revealed
Disc 1: Daniel Seven
Disc 2: Saiyan
Disc 3: AoS

Keep hold the list for HU9?
warped_candykid
CD 1: Upfront Hardcore from the DJ Kurt / Joey Riot / Rave Muzik / Odd Labels perspective
CD 2: Upfront Hardcore from the Sc@R, S3RL, Al Storm, F&D, etc. perspective
CD 3: Upfront Hardcore from the J-Core crowd
CD 4: Freeformy stuff for those peeps
Janster I want Luna-C on it. And I wanna split up Fracus & Darwin.

I'd just like them to remember where they misplaced their talent this last couple of years.

Luna-C would be awesome..However it will never happen for the same reason he never has done a Bonkers mix in the past.

His sets involve a ton of samples and would be a logistical nightmare to clear them all.

He mentioned this in a interview a few years back
GrahamC Since it's a fun thread...

for starters, no Fracus & Darwin (shock! horror!!)

CD1. Transcend & Cyrax doing a remix disc of stuff like Castles in the Sky & the Faithless track they did! Would never clear licenses in real life but it would be awesome and draw in the mainstream listener.
CD2. DJ Sy's Killa Kutz - Like Hixxy on Bonkers 13, anthems except, mixed by somebody decent with some scratching
CD3. Brisk doing a 'digging deep' mix - Like those Bunter CDs but it would be good, like his radio shows on FB/Twitch with some rarely heard but bangingingly awesome choonage.
CD4. Cotts & Ravine - I missed them since Hardcore Addiction stopped, nice fun happy stuff mixed on 20 decks, not Virtual DJ.
trippnface luna c, aww yea. was best set at HH .

He gunna release supaset 20 on disc for free with a package i think, i would def swoop. such a badass set
LeVzi CD1 : Slipmatt - Classics 93-96

CD2 : Al Storm 2000-2019 remix only set ( Remix of classics )

CD3 : Partyraiser - Uptempo Madness

CD4 : Producer - Technodrome Insanity

CD5 : Sy - Pure old skool

Seeing as it's for fun.

Tremendous :D Will certainly keep an eye out for that!
Craigavon raver I've actually been thinking about this for a while now and was meaning to make a thread about it, I think a hu8 will obviously come out eventually since its the labels fisrt and shall we say " flagship release" but when is anyone's guess! but think I can safely say it won't have any of those line-ups! even though you's said for fun.

I would like to see, and obviously trying to be realistic, actually have a chance of mixing it! lol

cd-1 fracus & Darwin- don't need to say anything here, it's obvious!

cd-2 scott brown & marc smith- since scott's mixed the last few hu, and would like to see marc smith back again, since he's worked with hu and scott brown before, think could be a good team, even though haven't heard anything from marc the past couplr of years, trusting still good!

cd-3 stompy & ufo- was actually gonna say storm & ufo since al has mixed every hu bare 1! and obviously him and his label are very close and run in tandom you could say to hu, but gonna throw in stompy since he's back producing again and he's representing 24/7 anyway, plus al busy mixing hh 4 & 5, new ablum, dark shadows e.t.c, stompy can take his place, and ufo since he's back producing again and is also on 24/7, they can go b2b and represent that label and sound

Think that would be a pretty good and realistic line up! hopefully will happen
Archefluxx Now that Hardcore Underground 8 has been announced, I'm finding it interesting comparing these predictions to the actual line-up

If the last hardcore heaven was anything to go by they might as well have it mixed by David Guetta and Calvin Harris.

Friendly reminder that was a fun thread. Thanks Archefluxx for the reminder for this.

BTW, none of my choice were spot. Actually, since surpresively F&D had done a lot of stuff on this year, HH6 and TSIHU2 (pls stop... but continue).

About the current line up. Saiyan is new for me. Daniel Seven could be great listen him (sadly didn't picked the X-TREME HARD Promo that he made :(. sorry Dan) and AoS, outstanding producer, any mix that can recommend to listen while I wait for this one?

Shane's a good guy, he's been helping Luna-C with running Kniteforce for a long while so I'm going to assume his mix will be a big mixture of Old-school Hardcore to Modern!
Samination I guess it took 7 volumes for them to stop trying to suck mainstream dick? Oh wait, they got Hardcore Heaven for that now...

Awwww thanks! :D

I'm going for a stylistically varied approach, similar to most of my DJ sets. I actually don't think I'm going to get into oldskool though, there aren't really that many people actively making it who aren't releasing through Kniteforce, so an oldskool segment would be like...."okay here's a chunk of Kniteforce tracks aaaaaand here's the rest of the mix".

I also very likely won't be getting into the 160/165 stuff, as that style just got spotlighted in a big way on HH6. I have like...one 160 track in my pool right now, and that's only because it's a killer remix of a track I have an attachment to.

But otherwise everything's on the table. Breakbeat, 4/4, vocal/non-vocal, freeform, powerstomp, makina, and I have an eye towards ending on harder stuff, bit of gabber, kick it up to uptempo/frenchcore at the end. My approach is not dissimilar to Brisk's Slammin' Vinyl Hardcore Heaven mixes, I've actually been listening to them again on the regular for inspiration.

I'm also not likely to include many of my own productions. I'd rather use the platform to spotlight some of the ridiculously talented artists out there who deserve it more. My name's on the front I'm good. xD

By the way, all of us are seeking submissions, so if anyone reading this produces hit us up on Facebook, or shoot me a WeTransfer at [email protected] with "HU8 submission" in the message field, and note whether or not you want me to share your tracks with Daniel Seven and AoS. Make sure it's an email you can be contacted at. No bootlegs or WIP clips please, we're on a clock. <3

Is their a deadline for submissions. Ive not long finished something experimental... tried a cross over of bass house and hardcore which may work well.... maybe lol
DJ Saiyan Submissions need to get to us within the next couple of weeks, we've been told to shoot for having final mixes submitted by the end of the month.
tenfold234 I am so looking forward to this album. Loved Daniel Seven's album on HU as well as the various tunes he's done across several Japanese comps. Heavenly cheese all the way. Been loving AOS stuff since he hit the scene years ago. And can't wait to listen to Saiyan's mix...Canada represent!

Yeah never in a million years would I have predicted that line-up!
Skidzorz Big ups to Shane! Will love seeing some Canadiana on the cover :3. It's nice to see them really throwing a monkey wrench into things with this lineup. Love F&D, Scott Brown, Brisk etc. but this feels like they're bringing it back to the vibe of the first two.

DJ Saiyan Hey guys, just wanted to take a brief second to say thank you to everyone who submitted tracks. I wish I could take the time to email each of you individually right now, but we're all pretty much done with final selections and license agreements are being sent out, so we're all in crunch mode trying to get everything finished up and ready for release.

Some KILLER stuff got sent in. Only a very small amount wasn't up to standard. And I mean VERY small. There are some insanely talented producers out there, some of you I'd never even heard of before. Future's looking pretty bright for the genre. :D

I may hit some of you up later once this album and one other project are done to inquire about either signing the tracks you sent for KFA, or asking you to do stuff for the label. Feel free to continue sending me stuff (this time unsigned/unreleased ONLY) if you're looking for a home for your tracks, as I'm always looking for new material for KFA, and if you make harder stuff, for Malice, which will be relaunching later this year (finally).

Thanks again everyone! <3

I don't think you realise the actual history of Hardcore Heaven with you being in a country (Sweden) that pretty much never ever had any real Hardcore scene or decent Hardcore djs..
The brand Hardcore Heaven has been around as long as Bonkers. Was a creation of one of the pioneers of the scene DJ Seduction. Who eventually sold the rights off to other hardcore promoters.

So if Hardcore Heaven is mainstream in your eyes, I guess Bonkers is too.

Loads of the best djs mixed on Hardcore Heaven CDs in the 90's. Scott Brown, Marc Smith, Brisk, Hixxy, Slipmatt, Seduction, Sy & Unknown, Dougal.

It's an original UK Happy Hardcore brand with a long history. So why slag it off?

Hardcore Heaven NOW is nothing like it used to be. The old Hardcore Heaven CD's and events were decent. You cannot compare the two. One is happy hardcore, the other is UK Hardcore.
rafferty I'd just stick with the Hardcore Heaven series. I prefer it to Hardcore Underground.

It still has the history Hardcore Underground will never have. And there are bits and pieces of Happy Hardcore on there anyway.

UK Hardcore is getting called UK Happy Hardcore again anyways.
Still the same concept in just a more modern time.

It's always fascinating how tastes differ even within a niche genre ;). Many of the tracks you like, I like too. But I also love some "bad" ones, even two of the "horrid" ones:
Jazakid - Dance Track
Getty & Noriken - Burnd out

The Grenzgaenger one is a really growing when just listened as single track. For one the original bpm fits the track more, on the other hand its 1995 gabber style sticks out in an odd way between all these more or less modern tracks.

Well it's personal opinion I'm expressing obviously. We don't always agree on what tickles our tummies.
trippnface *Review based on track selection, not dj skill*

Well, after grabbing the USB from Kevin Energy, so far, HU8 has been pretty underwhelming. Multiple 10/10 5 star tracks on the usb. I can't honestly say I found one 5 star or 10/10 track on saiyan or daniel seven's disk. You know. Tingles, goosebumbs, WOW, F**K me, etc.

Don't even try to pull the "nostalgia" card on my ass. Plenty of the tracks i rated highly on the USB I have never even heard. The vast majority of modern hardcore is just not up to par ( for me). No hate, just really different tastes i guess.

I would have liked to see some more kniteforce from saiyan, i'm buying 10/10 tracks from kniteforce all day. I also feel like Daniel seven's tracks were a bit more tame & less upbeat over all than I would expect.

I of course saved AOS for last, I know my boy do me solid ;) <3, will update after I go thru his.

If I ever put more than half a disc worth of Kniteforce-owned tracks on a compilation album like this, which is what I did, shoot me in the ****ing head.

whittle1 Yeah I'm pretty bummed that we don't get a Fracus & Darwin mix. Quite a poor choice for the line-up if you ask me, Daniel Seven is good but a bigger name DJ is needed to supplement the other artists featured. Saiyan / Aos haven't made enough of a mark on the industry to yet warrant a place on HU of all things. In particular I've been impressed with Aos but he's still relatively to hardcore (at least to my knowledge). As others have mentioned some J-core would be really appreciated on future albums, Shimamura and Jakazid I'm always impressed with.
Claxton I'll take okay...

Shimamura mixed the previous volume alongside Al Storm, and when the first Hardcore Underground album was made back in 2006, no one was a "big name" back then.
kazukism92 I was going to say that...

'Can be a yay for a 4th in a roll mix by Fracus & Darwin, considering that they didn't stop to offer the Hardcore Heaven 6 and TSIHU2 mixes, excluding podcast'

But >personal preferences<

As I said (I don't remember if I wrote that but LOL), is okay HU8 does have some spotlight for the current masses. Already, Daniel Seven has done some awesome job during these years, but AoS and Saiyan is still new for me (I'll focus so soon guys).

Talking about >preferences<, JAKAZiD needs appear with 3 CD project, a mix with the best of his career, UK pure flavor and J-Core + UK style. It needs to be happen.

(Advice: Does it count the bootlegs?)

Samination Hu Wholly own the HU album brand, so they can do whatever they want with it. And I doubt F&D would have had enough material to fill TWO whole albums so fairly close to each other...
warped_candykid I think we should all be thankful we got a mixed album in today's time of digital music, and all the tracks with the order. I think it's great to hear different DJs. Why would you want to hear F&D YET AGAIN on another disc, when there are 4 pretty recent releases (HH4, HH5, HH6, TSHU2), there needs to be room for new talent to be showcased. I'm sure they're well aware they won't please everyone, but we need to be a bit more thankful for what we do get. :)
Craigavon raver I've just listened to each mix once from I got it, and I think I preferred aos disc, seems to be a few other peoples preferences as well, god knows when i'll listen to it again though
