Non DJs.. people that want to hear fresh music and listen at home

Unfortunately it?s Completely unsustainable to do a compilation and give away almost a years work making music for a label for such a low price (not in this scene anyway), we have added some in for the pre orders but your talking about giving away a years worth of singles or more on a label for a tiny amount of money, that?s not fair to the artists as the return is a tiny fraction of what they would get back from streaming and downloads individually.

That said we don?t exactly mess about with getting music out, the tracks will filter out over artist albums, singles, USBs etc over the next few months or so

Should be back from press in 3/4 weeks, maybe earlier but we are saying end of July to be safe mate :-)
Samination can putting 29 tracks on one mix be that much more viable though?

Just look at Daniel7 and his label. They're apparently doing fine with radio versions (or a mix of radio and extended versions) instead of mixed albums.
warped_candykid Listen at yall...ridiculous!

Non-DJs will buy the album
DJs will buy the album to hear upcoming tracks
Fans who are dedicated will support the project.
Fans who enjoy physical products will buy the album

My hope is that there's actual mixing on it, and not just cutting the track at the 4th beat of the last measure in the riff.

Also, many projects in the past have done 25+ tracks on a mix, and yall praised it back then. "We get to hear more upcoming songs!" is what yall use to say, so don't change that energy now.
Alex Threat I've ordered both to be fair, looking forward to this and hearing the album. The CD I will probably never use if I'm honest, but its nostalgic & it's supporting the label!

Me,

Are these mixes split into tracks or just one continuous wav?
htid_4_life Also im really excited to hear new material with Bang! any samples anywhere? I would definitely be looking to buy the mix to hear their material and then possibly buy the wav when out

Who praised what now? I'm pretty sure most of the here actually disliked being able to hear less and less of the tracks being played.

All the mixes stretch to about as far as we can press, 78/79 minutes

I agree 29 tracks in an hour is a bit much in some cases but this is well over and leaves plenty of time, especially as most of the music is only 3/4 mins long now anyway in full length cuts we don?t have to cut that much out really!

CDs are split as you would expect with track ID, the usb will have continuous and split tracks should you want to burn your own :-)

We are *trying* to cover everyone?s needs here, hence CDs & USB (in retro fitting packaging) hopefully most of you can relate to that a bit haha 😂

To be honest Al, I'm glad someone is doing something!
Samination It wasn't my intention of being a downer all the time, and like vladel said, it's nice to see someone's making new music, whether it's bloated to hell or not :P

Sadly, this is a not a project for me. Not only because it's mixed, but in general, the sound 24/7 has represented almost since the beginning has never stroked any of my cords. Sure, I still buy a release there and here, but my tastes are to broad for any single sound or label.

... and also, I'm ****ing skint after paying a shittons of bundles on HU and NEC
trippnface I ain't trippin, agree with candykid.

One reason is enough for me to purchase, a few and it's game on.

cheers
Edzo Which tracks are on EP1? Didn't see it mentioned anywhere unless I'm blind

Yes, I was doing it on an iPhone. It must be this then (although it added other products OK, so probably something to do with pre-order items maybe?!). Will try again. Cheers for responding.

Samination If any other products can be added without any problems, then it's not a iphone issue, it's a website script issue

I think it is a good idea. Kind of like the old Bonkers Compilation CD days. You hear the tracks all mixed up and then you can still buy the individual ones you like.

Hixxy said he re-starting Bonkers also which I am guessing will be similar too.

Yeah likewise, Rob IYF is probably my favorite producer at the moment. So will be buying it just for his set alone.
Craigavon raver This thread just remembering me about this, I've got it but haven't even listened to it yet! its still in my mums house, must go and get it, moved house a few months ago and had a few other things going on in my life the last few months (not good unfortunately) must get out of my mums and give it a blast, and get the rest of my cds, all my hardcore is basicly still in my mums.
